just need to proof this scalping based on S/R system (I'm guessing) on H1 (or less) TF will hold up for years, seen many like this only last 4 - 6 months max especially with the quite high margin being used here.

I have been on holiday and doing some extra trading away from my original system ... which is a bad thing I know, but hey I am still making profit and well beyond my targets. If you still wish to know the basics of the original system just say so and I will post this weekend.

however, what i do not understand(and i mean that in general) is why certain people do not share their system if they are successful ? isn't this a sharing community, where everyone comes in to help on analysis, helping newbies, etc ?

OK I'm in no way discrediting forexfactory

but I now have found my way of trading and that is the reason why I quit, simply because I will not learn anything out this forum anyway, now I deal with the real money and real world

so if anyone said a great success without trying to explain anything please be skeptical, be very very skeptical until there are some hints provided regarding the system

afterall why would succesful traders spend their expensive time here in a beginners forum? I would rather spend my valuable time with real traders, open a trading training center, do more due dilligence on the brokers etc. etc.

... unless there is a hidden agenda ....

Because successful traders are advanced human beings. Thats why all great traders have mentors and why all great traders are mentors. They Know that giving freely is the only way to receve freely. Very few people know this or how to apply it correctly. Time spent with an eager newbie, keen to learn, is without doubt very valuable use of a traders time. Those traders who work in secret and alone, keeping there discoveries to themselves out of fear of someone else gaining, will not be successful. Measure your success by the pips you enable others to get, and you will not want for the things that you desire.

yes I will do that in my trading school, not here

and I would be more than happy if Soros would share with me freely his trading plan, what he is going to buy or sell in the next 3 months

I'm sorry but I face it trading is a war, actually not among us small traders but between us and the big boys

btw, I was not talking about sharing knowledge, I indeed share all of my knowledge here just check my past posts, I was talked about those who tried to manipulate something by giving false information about his/her success, I believe you are not one of them M.A.C.
These are obviously very impressive. Please share your strategy.

Trading, of itself, is nothing at all until you judge it so. If you say it is a war then you must fight your enemy and defend yourself out of fear of attack. This is a very difficult stand to take, there are no winners in war, just more war.
I take full responsibility for my decisions so the only possible enemy is myself. Knowing who I am there is nothing to fear. I choose friendship, forgiving my mistakes easily and doing my best to make trading decisions based on my best interests. For me, trading is wading through a pool, collecting coins from an endless supply on the bottom. If I am greedy, and try to take more than I can carry, I may slip and fall. If i do drop some of my coins thats ok, I can pick them up next time.

OK, I think I need to redefine my post

I believe there are 4 groups of succesful traders

1. succesful live traders w long term positive results (I found only a couple in this forum, but still they don't expose 100% of their knowledge here)
2. succesful live traders w short term success who later open a paid forum, paid signals, open opportunities for charities and
so on I think I've met most of them in the internet and in the real life trying to sell something
3. succesful honest demo traders
4. succesful liar demo traders with some hidden agenda

I was referring to traders type 2,3,4 on my posts, esp. #4

now there are good and bad traders as well

when one is on a forex training course and get to the indicator subject, entry, exit rules

they will usually show you picture or some fragment of the market when the method works they will hide from you those frustating moments of consolidation which if not being anticipated from the beginning might wipe out
your account, check soultrader's blog if you want to know how even a very good method still unable to cope the consolidation period

a good trader doesn't necessarily to be a succesful one but he/she will tell you what is real and what's not in forex trading and my way to analyzed one's integrity is by checking his/her back posts from the very beginning

check for consistency
look for anything that just doesn't make sense

last it is much better to play your own account, at least, if something goes bad you will learn the lesson

put your money in a managed account, you would still be wiped anyway without a good luck, but nothing learnt in the process

trading is an extremely high risk investment period

Open an account with Oanda and put 50% of you balance short on the USD/CNY....
Look at your account in 12 months time and you'll have a very nice profit. If you add 5% when ever Margin Available > Margin Used you will have even more.
There you go. The trouble is no one will try this because it's too easy and most ppl believe that making money doesn't work that way.

Yes he doesn't even have to place trades anymore. The broker just gives him the money without asking.

But on a more serious note. If this guy was really on to something, why would he share it? Anyway, I am calling b*llshit. 95% of his trades were profitable. Just impossible! ...... or maybe not?
