I love all of IBFX features - Is it safe?

I really want to have a live account in IBFX but after reading about the pips spread in this forum, I am having doubt about this company. Is it still safe to trade on there and I really like their MT4 platform. So, any opinions are welcome on here.

I don't trade the news, and rarely scalp trade, but in the order screen/window there is an option you can set that specifies what slippage you are willing to accept. ...If you get a re-quote you either take it or skip the trade.

You will get slippage during fast moving times occasionally, but to me, that's only fair. I basically trade 1hr 4 hr and daily chart etc ...and on the close of the bar. A pip out here or there doesn't bother me.

Worried about opening an account?? There's nothing saying you HAVE to put all your trading capital in at the start. i.e. If you have $20,000 , why not only put in the amount needed to keep you safely away from margin requirement problems.

Yeah, I don't scalp and I mainly trade on the daily chart so those pips spread won't be a problem, right?

If you are going with daily charts - I would say they are a good one to get into. I have been using them the last 9 months or so, and have never had any major issues.

How reliable are there live servers because the demo servers keep cutting me off and a few days ago i couldnt get on for half a day

I noticed a post by Scott (smjones) mentioning how he went down to see them personally recently. They sound like they have a problem with too many demo accounts on the Demo servers. Believable. Every man and his dog (and cat) has a demo account for the free charts there!

The live accounts had some issues for a few months after that liquidity provider closed. They seemed to have fixed all that now though. Unless I just haven't been around at the time.

I trade with InterbankFX since 2006/04/04. Standard from 2007.11.13. Recently, very few disconnections or spread widenings. Excellent customer support (in my opinion and experience so far).

Really it's the news traders who complain the most about the spread widening. I've only noticed it on the occasion during normal trading. If it was common I'd tell you.

If you're trading daily you wouldn't give a s___ unless you're anal about getting everything to the pip. lol

Well put. Spread widening doesn't affect traders who trade the Daily or Weekly charts.

They are only scammers and paralize the server going against all traders, I was scammed by them and never more!
