Much obliged

Me Too! Thanks SW.

WOW damonl you sure have an eye for the charts!!! This new AO trade is very cool!

I do have a question though. . . the directive for this trade is too use standard SL and TP and to take this trade regardless of current direction of trend, if I am not mistaken. So, I am wondering. . . if the current trend is long and the AODT says go short (sell) - are we to exit on a reversal signal still? What if this reversal (short -sell) agrees with the trade we have placed? (short- sell) . . .or should we wait until a disagreeing reversal signal (long).

I am not trying to be contrary, just trying to learn your thought process.

Thanks!

Please disregard my previous post regarding IBFX and Daylight Savings Time. Since it was Easter IBFX didn't open as early today, therefore no Sunday candle.

It looks like we no longer will get Sunday candles with IBFX for now. Something to do with Daylight Saving Time (DST).

In your example above you would wait until it eiterh hits our S/L or you get a signal to exit your short positsions.

Hello SwingMan, Dashboard seems a great addition, experimenting is underway. I modified the pairs to fit on mini account (USDJPYm,...)and everything works for now.

I would though like an explanation on values:
- are AC and AO values for last day (I mean, at 23:30 they display current day value or last day value? And at 00:01 they both siwtch to fresh values or they display the values for just finished day candle?)
- at ST and NL values, what are second values? Will NL ever display two blue/red/yellow arrows or always one red/blue and one yellow?

thanks

k.

Solved the problem for me that is was not indicating. Took a good night sleep and reading from my other fellow traders.

DashBoard with a litle correcture for the ST signals. I'm working to the trading signals (you coude see the code), but isnt easy...

- It coud be that at the first start, the DashBoard is empty. Just restart the indicator, thats all.

- AC, AO and RSI are calculated for the last day: bar [1]. I hope that at 00:01, the calculation is made for 23:59 of the previous day...

- For ST and NL, the first arrow is the old signal, which coud be many bars ago. The second arrow is the signal (or trend for NL) at the bar[1] of the previous day (ST last, NL last).

- If you give the SymbolSuffix "m" in inputs, you have (hopely) the XXXYYYm pairs. In the previous version I forgot to do this.

NO NO NO, Swingman.

I think you are German and we Dutch and Germans solve our problems.
Send me the instructions, if you wish in German, and I will make an effort to translate it into proper English, and if my English does not come out solid, we have a bunch of friendly ppl here that are willing to help out to make it all look professional in your name.

I think Damon is also from German background, but he writes English almost flawlessly.

You can send it to my direct email:

Bis dann.

Hello Damon and everyone,

Just curious how things have been for everyone the past trading day. I've experienced especially rough time with EUR/JPY and EUR/AUD pairs. They both took a sudden turn around that produced quite a bit of a drawdown, which I found very strange and unexpected.

Just wanted to confirm to see if anyone else is having the same outcome, or is it just my own mistakes in placing my trades.

Other than that, everything else seems normal.

Cheers,

Tony

I am only trading G/U, E/U, U/CHF, U/J, and G/J and have not experienced much drawdown at this point.

I think that the system is guilty also for other time frames, and in this DashBoard version you can give other time frames as D1.

Just a question: at the time I write in the price column the bid price in the moment of indicator calculation. Is not better to write the open price of the current candle, or the close price of the last candle?

Hey TM...had a little drawdown myself, but am not worried about it. So far I have close 10% 2x and was almost ready to close again except market turned away. I was a couple hundred bucks away. That all since I started this thread..

I am still up in equity about 4% and I am hoping that the market wants the USD to continue to increase in value. If it does, I should reach my 10% tomorrow. If not, I am still up 20% for the month.

I am sure your drawdown is fairly small for your account size. All is well

Hi Damon,

Please see below chart for EUR/CHF. It looks like we had an NLCT long on 3/21. But the Monday bar (3/24) opened higher than the high of 3/21 bar. In a case like this how should we place an EES trade? Does this mean we have to wait for price to close back inside the set-up bar(3/21) before placing an EES trade? If price keeps going up without pulling back, we cannot place any long trades because no EES trade has been initiated. And therefore the only thing we could have done is cancel all pending short trades when we got the NLCT long signal on 3/21, and place TAMB short trade on 3/20 bar.

And from this point on, we continue to place daily TAMB short trades and not long trades for the above-mentioned reason. Am I getting this right? The only possible long trades at this point would be the previously placed TAMB long trades.

Cheers,

Tony
