i dont know, im testing that now, been running a h1 tick test since 4 hrs ago

If I want to change my lots from .01 to .1 or 1.0 etc. is that the only change I need to make to the ea inputs?

i run tests on 10.000 accts : i use 0.1 lots (as my broker minimum trade) and set profit target percent=1, so it looks more like mini acct settings

if you have only 900 it's definitly to dangerous to use higher trades
i personaly was thinking of using higher trades (0.2 or 0.3 instead of 0.1) but only once my acct reached a 30000 or 40000 balance...

ok but .01 seems to be good for testing on a mini account. It looked like a .1 would be better for live trading after testing. I may be jumping the gun here since I've just started using this ea tonight.

on ibfx mini you should be betting 0.01 lots
default settings
when u reach bout $1200 itl bet 0.02

it bets 0.1 per $10,000 balance

it might seem the trades are small
but not really
this ea trades alot
it can have up to 1000 trades at ibfx

though i doubt wel see that unless u trade more than 1 pair

dont let 0.01 lots fool you, it adds up

no1 noticed yet, but we lost our immediate reentry after target hit

but i fixed it, theres v32 on the site
this should make it test even better, cause were missing big parts of the move

I'm running v31 on 5 min G/U default settings
as you can see in the attached screen
there are over 400 open trades both long and short
Margin is currently 61%

have I missed something?

Did not change any settings
should I have changed account balance?

OK
as I was writing this the EA closed all the open trades for a huge loss
see attached graph.

i guess it hit the trade limit
i havent tested gbp-usd
thats a nasty range
in next version trade limit will be 1000 again
you shoulda won on the drop after that range

theres a good example of how tester is diferent
see how the trades opened forming a line
in real life they open close to the same spot
increasing the chance of hitting target alot
