I haven't changed any settings. The first EA was using 0.04 lots on every trade, the second one i said was using 0.06 then after the balance went up some more,it increased the lot size to 0.07. This last one i'm using which is super ea v4(beta) uses 0.03 lots. It's using micro lots at the moment. When it uses 0.03 lots, 1 pip gain is equal to 30 cents. And I just traded GBP/JPY. I hope this is helpful,thanks.

on ibfx mini, 0.03 is 3 cents per pip

if its a mini account youl see a m beside the symbol name

there was a version that risk and target was 0.2 by accident

that may be why your account got a boost

It's just GBP/JPY, not GBP/JPYm, so this is a standard account , EA is using micro lots on the standard account then. Thanks.

i didnt realise theyd let you, any1 know if you can micro lots on a real standard account?

Trendchaser what does the 5000 mm do on a Standard account, how is it different to a mini which is 10000?

lot=NormalizeDouble(AccountBalance()*Maximum_Risk/mm_calculation,10);

mm_calculation is used in the math for risk

I'm using fx-stars demo platform. It says the funds are held with Interbank FX and FX Stars customers execute directly from a streaming Interbank quote feed . I don't know, Fx- Stars is working with Interbank fx i guess.
Also the mm setting of the EA shows 10000 at the moment, so am i doing something wrong? Thanks.

well 3000 on a standard is low balance

mm should be 5000 on ibfx standard

you should be making about 1% a day

risk is % of balance
10000 for a mini is correct, 5000 for a normal
if risk is 1, ur using 1%
if you change mm, it wont be correct

I backtested the EA and it whiped out the account... can anybody tell me what I did wrong ??
