I haven't gotten into the specifics of using the Spreadsheet. For the most part it is pretty straight forward except for the pivot point trades which I will get to sometime down the road. Actually I am still testing these at the moment anyway

Just place whether your trade is pending (P) or open (O) and then the lots you entered and your entry and S/L price.

This is mainly just a reference, becasue as you start trading all pairs it will help you remember which trade was for what entrance.

Please let me know if I can help yo uunderstand anythign better in anyway

See you guys and thanks for all your help and support. Please remember that I am here to help you in anyway that I can.

I will be back tomorrow evening to manage my trades and help you learn this system and manage yours.

ATP might look complicated, but I assure you that after a few weeks, you will be able to look at that chart and know what to do instinctively. And please, please, please be aware that when using ATP to trade all pairs that you will have a lot of trades open. Please use very small lot sizes relative to your equity.

With ATP you don't need large lot sizes.

Trying to confirm my understanding of a trend reversal signal. Please take a look at my EURUSD chart and let me know if I am analyzing the signals correctly?

As far as I understand, you are right. The first EES;

Second thought: Trend continuation is also true. So I think you can place more pending trade here: EES 1, DPTT and 1 up continuation.

I would also agree TF. BUT, one of the steps for for confirming a trend reversal is to have price pierce the setup bar. Where does this fit wrt an entry here? Wouldn't we need to confirm the trend (reversal?) before we're able to trade with the trend? I don't know for sure....just throwing it out there.

@ Bull - excellent stuff, was compiling data myself, thank you for your dilligence.

I enjoy this stuff a lot, since it is a tremendous challenge to brainstorm this much information - I mean, this is not a system or strategy, it is a concept, or better, a system of systems, each closely bound to another and intertwined with signals. And herein lies my problem, perhaps you have it too and we can help each other out...

You see, I NEED TO START SOMEWHERE WITH SOMETHING and go step by step over chart and this is what Im trying to acomplish in last days; better said, I need a recipe - look at chart, is there a ST spot, is there a NL yellow, if both what to do next, is this a reversal indy but not conformation, is it an IB bar, how many orders do i have open or pending around, OMG here goes that spreadsheet again...

When Im fully into this complete system of systems, I may be looking at devising some sort of decision making chart, just a thought, will see how it goes.

OK, on with reading and analyzing...

Hi TF,
That was my first reaction too when I saw the NL turn yellow, but then I remembered what I am calling the "3 of 3" rule.....in this case, ST dot, NL yellow AND price piercing the setup day bar. As RandyG67 writes, the third part of rule is absent, so the trend continues and we trade LONG.

You are correct. I uploaded my chart a bit early as I usually start evaluating my trades before the close of the bar. So yes...I would have missed that trade.

But you are correct . Now which way the market goes you don't care because you are set to profit from any movement. And remeber that the trend is still bullish and this EES trade is where you would be most vulnerable. Keep lots very low for an early trade like this.

Yes rg...you would confirm the reversal buy placing a sell stop order below the low of the set-up bar. This way your order would be placed at the time of the piercing.

This is 100% correct. However, because we are in a obvious up trend you could also place the DPTT and the 1UCT orders as well.

Most of the time when I get a reversal ST dot and close in yellow of the lag I will refrain from placing anymore orders in the direction of the trend and just place the Non-Lag reversal order.

I will go back to the long orders when the NL closes yellow and moving in the direction of the original trend or a bar has closed above the ST dot.

This rule was mainly put into place to save pips in a ranging market. As long as EU is obviously trending I would feel very comfortable placing all 3 orders shown on the EU chart for today, espeically because all of the pips bagged so far since the bottom.

And as for the S/L part, you would move your S.L only using the Early Exit Strategy, but since we are trending I would not use this strategy, as it will cost you a lot of pips as the trend continues. This is a better one to use in a ranging market.

Thanks for the excellent job you're doing, I/we really appreciate it. I have one request for the coming charts. If possible can you change the charts' background to white, for clearer/cheaper printing. That will make my life, at least, much easier.

Yes you are right regarding the validity of the EES1 entry, as Damonl has just confirmed. I think it's great we're all chipping in here as it helps to clarify in our minds how the system works.

You are explaining what is going on on my side very clearly.
It is a bit overwhelming at times, but we will figure it out, as master Damonl is not letting us in the cold if we get stuck.

Hello....

I am here for you and will be here until I am done placing my trades.

EU gave us the old succker punch today, but in hindsight , according to the rules we should really not have opened up anymore long trades because of the NL closed in yellow. That was my fault as I uploaded my chart early and then never realized that it had done so.

Please...I will make mistakes, please follow the rules more than you follow me and you will do fine.

One thing to note is that even though I lost the two trades today with EU, my acount balance lost 1% (before I close out my DPTT orders that are postive), but my equity gained 2%. This means that if I were to close all positions now, I would have earned 1% today.

The key is really to trade as many pairs as you can and you will see how many days are like this.

I will upload my charts soon, answer your posts and then make my trades. If you have any questions...Fire Away!!!!
