I lean more toward the down, as there is no good news on any front to sustain "long" momentum. That makes today a retrace???
This pair is very much in an indecision mode and things that usually don't have much affect on it are causing big moves, IMHO.
Like I said earlier, get ready for wild ride with hard swings, until she breaks out. Expect tight stop losses to be hit

Any one take long positions when Price touched the 5 sma on the 4 hour? I can't post a chart, not at home.
Indicators show the past. Price Action "Indicates" the future.

We will either break out of 207.31 overnight if GBP interest rate is good and test 50 % fib at 208.5 ish , or the double dojis will play out and we test 205.5 zone. If 205.5 zone is broken hold on for the ride.

I loaded a small feeler there, but i like it better at 206/30 area to buy it. I shorted the rejection and my target is 206.20

Malcolmb and all hi. Noticed your bear flag setup on the GJ 4H

I on the other hand see a bull flag formation in the GJ 1H, as per the pic attached.

Being long at this point, I guess that this is my bias.

50ema and 100sma crossed up on the 1h chart. I think bulls will come in hard around at the 205.88 to 206.10 area.

read this thread all the time and amuses me the shit that the tech guys speak, this is a bull run baby sparked by a equity market usd/jpy surge combined with a European test of 2.00, no Russian mafia going to stop this baby, Halifax comes in positive, no rate move you get your 209, stop looking at ridiculous charts and unless your doing intermarket technical analysis your blind as a bat wouldn't even wait i would buy now not sure it will be lower then this, sell out before the US session though as those guys freaking out alot these days just look at nikkei after lunch and as long as it doesn't ease you got your 200+ move coming hard and fast
