Why don't we all trade the DOW as during the US Session all yen pairs follow the DOW and all others do nothing! Obviously the big instiutions can not value a currency without looking where tyhe DOW is..................I am sticking to trading european sessions....Unelss I want to trade the DOW.

you don't trade the DOW - you just use it as a roadmap - think of it like having a crystal ball...

why wouldn't you want to trade like that?

Because The yen pairs move with the Dow no Lag!!!

look at the last drop from 205.00 - which moved first?

and say there is no lag - whats wrong with some sure fire confirmation?

i mean - I'm not trying to convince you - if you have some good ideas to share about the European sessions - please do tell! Obviously you don't like looking at the DOW or trading the NY session - which is just fine.

But I can tell you that the crystal ball sure works well for me

I like trading the european sessionbecause a) More Volume b) moves independent from index Ftse, Dax or likewise and c) more movement.

If you look now the yens are folowing the Dow not the other way around

I like Europe as well - on the G/J you get these great 50 pip ranges! NY is usually good for a lot of noise and one good breakout for 100 pips or so.

Seems like NY traders are "all or nothing" types; while the Europeans just like to milk the 20 pips moves over and over.

isnt that just like a double bottom...well just at the begining maybe, but i have the feeling that we can expect goin up very soon

DOW is off by 200points.

larger timeframe trend is down........

BUT. price tend to test lew & high price 2 or 3 times before taking off the other direction.

so we can say this is the second test of low since yesterday ? after this then there is a possibility it goes up up and got stuck at 206 area
