My broker insist i trade on pairs with smaller volumes/smaller lot size because i have a mini account.Can someone tell me how to identify currency pairs with smaller volume/smaller lot size.I'm new and want to try live trading.I NEED TO UNDERSTAND THIS.

If you want a good piece of advice: DONT DO IT.
It's garantued that you will lose your money.
Learn the basics. Learn some systems. Practice them on a demo.
Then you can start trading live with a tiny amount of money.

Smaller lot trades are very common when you're working with small amounts of money. Your broker is doing you a favor. You don't need to find pairs that have smaller lot sizes, you need a micro account w/ your broker that gives you the ability to trade small sizes.

That's dialist's thread on money management. Find a broker and get an account that offers the requisite lot size.
