iCustom for EAs?

Is there some function similar to iCustom that allows one EA to use the functions of another?

you can use the #import to bring in the functionality of a compiled ex4 file. If it doesn't find the file in the indicators folder it will then look in the experts folder.

I did some reading on the #import function and--as I understand it--I need to know the underlying source code.

What if I don't have the source code? What if I only have the .ex4 file, and know the inputs, and what it does.

Like the swiss army EA (attached), for example.

I'm trying to get my EAs to use the swiss army EA to calculate stops/takeprofits/trailingstops/hedges/etc. without having to attach the swiss army EA to a chart.

not sure how you could do it without the original source code so you can see what functions you want to call. icustom makes it really nice to pull data from other indicators but it won't work with ea's. Maybe someone else can chime in and help.

Isn't that kind of taking a bit of a risk when you don't have the source code?

Not when you know how the EA works.
