This is one of those things that when you look back at the chart you almost certain that this could have been a right signal to enter. But in the real time I can't quite jump in, not clear

Hey, guys... it's been awhile since I've had the time to post on FF, but twoelev showed me this system and I thought I'd throw my hat into the ring.
I''m currently long g/j based on my own 1 hour chart setup, as well as the double bottom that has confirmed for a total move up of about 40 pips.. it's only moved up about 22 so far.... with the stochs very well separated and still coming out of oversold territory... I would be wary of going short just from my view (however limited and shortsighted that may be
)
Based on this system, I would have been long too at 210.98... so, what are you guys seeing for a short? So far, the only reason I see is that there is basically one candle that did not pass a pivot... not much tail, didn't actually cross the pivot and come back under, and the second candle was on friday close... so not worth much...

This is why sometimes technical signals just dont' always work 
and why g/j and g/u are gapping down and will go down
The [UK] Govt has rocked the boat by announcing on Sunday that it had decided to nationalise ailing lender [Northern Rock] after considering that private takeover bids, namely from the Virgin Group as well as a management buyout, were inadequate. Defending its decision, Chancellor Darling said the nationalisation would be a temporary measure, and that the public would gain if the govt held on to Northern Rock until market conditions improved. Ron Sandler, who is widely regarded as having restored confidence in Lloyd's of London after its years in financial disarray, has otherwise been appointed to run the bank on a day to day basis. In a saga which has lasted almost six mths, the surprise move is seen by many as reflecting the depth of the credit crisis, and being widely dubbed as a further embarrassment to the Govt.

Don't second guess yourself. Hopefully you stayed in long because you could have made about 60pips or more so far! Trust the system!

I would like to ask tt is this considered a valid signal to enter? a doji formed when price was rejected at S3. or is it to enter after the bullish spinning top formed?

That was a really good signal Yuna! I made 55pips on that trade myself. We had a nice 200pips run down in the g/j...then price consolidated and tried to go down for 3hrs but couldn't. That last final attempt where it touched S3 and bounced right back up was the "signal" to enter the trade. Good eye...keep up the good work!
