i had that note in there since there had not been a post for a couple of days. slept a little late today, doesn't look like i missed much, the market is trading in a small range, what is it waiting for???? looked at e/j. the 25 and 50 are crossed or opposite and all the time frames. does that mean the end of the world???? haven't seen that in a while , does that mean something????? anyone?? beuller????

Not sure really needs sometihng to get it going though ,no news + its friday maybe weve all worn it out, gonna finish for week...i,ve turned and reversed on 4hr/1hr this morning and had my 100+ so idont think ill push my luck anymore 2day...left a v small position open on the break of the Daily g/y pin thingy..see what we see..going shopping

Writing on charts as if im telling someone else is something that i discovered really gets the message into my head...its like talking to yourself,....about charts....then for me it all makes sense.I would recommend it to anyone to have a go at ..its all very well sitting there with a thousand thoughts running round in your head , but putting them down. recording them and trying to make sense of it ,some how improves the thought process itself .

I truly agree with you here.
Just think,as a trader we are alone at all times,and hence the mind plays games with us,either challenging you to take trades or calling you an idiot for not taking trades.BUt as soon as you put something down on paperfor that particular chart as it unfolds really helps.I think of it as if that i am preparing to give a lecture and also give the results,either good or bad.
So i want to make sure it is going to be a good lecture!!
But good observation by yourself.As they say when you teach,you also get a second chance at learning as well

No seriously though anyone reading this should try it ....before you analyse your charts pull one up and quickly decide whats happening .make a note of that and then start writing on your charts and truly having a good look aroung your trading environment.
