DislikedYeah a trading room would be an awesome idea;so threaders or subscribers would share similar or different ideas n keep up with the latest.
Why? Cos if a thread is getting so long it will b rather cumbersome for newbies to join the thread. This doesn't necessarily mean this thread would terminate or halt....
My lil view too.Ignored
Being a tester, I really don't think a trading room is a good idea for a good while at least.
If you've read the last few pages you'll see that there's some heavy testing and analysis going on and there are many flavours of indicators that simply don't work and many that work one week or one day but definitely not the next. There is still much to do from people who have committed to this testing to even identify something that looks near consistent. And then there's Rick - well overworked and fielding questions that distract him from the target. We believe it's there - it just needs to be flushed out by coordinated planning and careful testing.
There's too much noise as it is on the thread, punctuated by at least the occasional fine distraction from TC - loved the last post on the 5 yr pin bar - that any room would likely be occupied by many people who didn't understand the system , don't have the time to understand, asked too many questions and many who had found something that had worked for five minutes and proclaimed the Holy Grail. While the intent is good, it just doesn't happen. At least with the thread, it makes you think before you post.
Many of the testers have other jobs and wouldn't look in on the room. I understand what you're looking for, and the frustrations of the format of the thread, but that's the way the land lies right now.
