It is said that this new feature of IBFX platform can recognise channel. Sounds interesting, if it is true I think it will help trading the SRDC method. What do you guys think about it. Anyone has tried it?

tried it today and the EURCAD triangle caught my eye, added some fibs and a trendline and 30 pips in the bag.

I am currently plowing through the threads, pheew! and would like to express my love and gratitude to all of the contributors especially OR. You are the man! I am looking forward to becoming more active on this thread as time goes by and learn how to do some of the basics (up loading charts). Thanks for the great energy expressed here.

You have landed in a great spot and will gain profitable knowledge here in SRDC-land. Visit teamspeak aka "Pipville" when you get the opportunity. Teamspeak has a separate room dedicated to SRDC I which will be a great place to start after reading SRDC I thread.

Absolutely! - I had to take a break from forex for a while and returned to ff to find the emergence of SRDC and an amazingly patient and knowledgeable teacher. Most of the experienced traders I have met (in person) talk about S&R and trendlines, so OrangeRoshan's teachings resonate with me. My only complaint is how prolific these threads are! 200+ pages to read took me at least, what, 2 days?! I'm looking forward to greater understanding so I can contribute. Until then I appreciate what everyone has done to bring me up to speed.

Finally today i finish to read the entire thread, it's simply amazing.
I'm following you, here and in the srdc1 thread, since december.
I never posted, I feel myself not too really ready to ask question and to put chart and so on. I'm afraid of silly question.
Most of you already understand and practice with success.
I'm working on srdc1 with demo, just 5 jedipips a day, and learning srdc2, but slowly coz my job, but soon or later I'll post my charts and study.

I desagree the way you express your results. You scalped 30 pips (supossing you use the same number of lots in another 2 trades of 10 pips). Thatīs your result. The number of lots you use depends on your account size and money management. So I think itīs not correct to express results that way.
If you look at the chart, there were three trend lines. 50 pips off each of those 3 trend lines = 150 pips. Sorry if the original post was confusing. When posting it, I wasn't really thinking so much about the # of pips, it was more to point out that the trend line techniqe that OR had showed us could be used successfuly.

I'll just list the pips made, and not discuss lots going forward, that way there will be no confusion. Thanks for pointing it out to me. SRDC has made me a believer.

Wanis, the team here are posting their channels everyday at the channel of the day thread. Over there you can see the team member's channels. I dont normally post my channel as this may decelerate your learning experience. Come to TS and learn about the channel there in live discussions and start posting you channel as well and see what the team's comment.

Thanks for your reply. I've been followed this thread quiet a while and so far not missed any single post except not joining TS due to my time constraint. I noticed that so far the channels are always changing.... due to break out. I simply don't understand that, even the break out occured, you still said that it was predictable..... hope to get clarification again. It seems that you never LOSS..... that's why i asked your prediction before you enter the trade.

Wanis, I do lose trades but its very manageable. What is important is making positive pips every end of the day.
