Yes, I get quotes, no problems here.


Actually platform shows amount of lots available on bid and ask price, its not a full level 2 but better than nothing. I hope there will be a lot more features in the future and it will be more stable and customizable.

I have not recieved the e-mail or link for the Viking Platform from BostenForex yet.Is the Berkley company in england the owners because I did see an e-mail from a fellow trader and Berkley does use this Viking Platform

Without real spreads,commission and leverage the beta testing wouldn't make sense.
At the moment it's nothing different than dealing with an MM.

Just to keep everyone updated: Viking Trader is still in developmental stages and release has been postponed for the moment.

ADM is working diligently to get VT ready for release -- and I apologize to all those waiting for live accounts.

What is the viking trader? I know the front end of the Currenex retail model is called Viking. Is this supposed to be anything different? Are the spreads going to be marked up or not? If the spreads are marked up there better be no commission added. Whats the point of paying a commission to get marked up spreads? For any of you out there that dont want to go through a broker and have a large enough account (7 figures) can go straight to the Currenex division at S.S. Bank.

I wanted to add one other thing after looking at prior posts in this forum. A broker using currenex has the ability to book trades. For any lot size under a standard the broker will have to book the trade and then decide how to hedge if they decide to do so at all. I know if I was a broker I wouldn't hedge any of those trades. The algo that Boston is talking about I assume is the simple process of weeding out who makes money and who doesnt. I can assure you that most traders coming in with mini lots will probably lose (dont get offended I am not saying everyone). However, who cares if they book trades if the trader gets a non marked up spread, has a competitive commission rate, and gets instant execution.
