I caught the aud/jpy for +24 but missed the gbp/jpy bus. I am pleased with the +24 that I did get.

Hi Harold,
Would you kindly explain why the A/J was an official Mint signal, or maybe it wasn't and you knew it was a good entry? The 4am GMT candle had the crosses on all three indicators, so did the open of the 5 and the 6 GMT. I belive you entered on the open of the 7gmt? I am new and trying to understand the system. Thank you for your generosity.

I am not answering for Harold, but I can tell you what I did. The aud/jpy was an official mint signal because first the daily for that pair indicated the 5ema crossed up over the 8ema and also the rsi was above 50. At the close of the 1am est candle on the 1hr chart the 5ema was crossed up over the 8ema, the rsi was above 50 and the the stocs was crossed up. Therefore, enter the trade when the 2am est candle opens.

The chart is very much appreciated, Harold. Even though I understand why the trade was entered, it's much easier for me to see what's happening on a chart. If nothing else I can compare to mine and make sure I'm on the right track.

good point fxpivots. let me share the thought process a little if we get 2 signals at same time we kind of look for tie breakers i recommend putting on 1 trade at a time so as i mentioned before the emas were spreading apart better on audjpy and of course the news earlier that aud raised interest rates which increases spread with jpy and just by looking at the chart cadjpy was going sideways and audjpy was beginning to trend up so the tie goes to audjpy this process must be done am i always right no but a high percentage of the time i am and so will you

i dont know about that if mine is 45 and your is 100 then it seems to me a decrease in I Q

Tried trading Asia Session last night (ibfx demo).

GBPJPY Short at 4:01GMT - Loss 22pips (stochs turned up on candle close)
- when the signal came at 4:00 the 1hr stochs were barley pointing down and just slighlty crossed

GBPCHF Short at 5:14 - Loss 20 pips, stop loss hit at 6:10
- same thing, stochs were giving a very weak direction when I took the signal

AUDJPY Long at 6:33 - Win 30 pips, TP hit at 8:28, got into the trade a little late, missed close of 6:00 candle. Looked like a strong signal so hopped in anyway.

I'm still trying to tweak the hours I trade to best fit my schedule so I don't have to wake up in the middle of the night. I too am EST.

stoli on the gbpjpy at 400gmt there was no signal (other than its not 600 gmt) the stoc was up gbpchf also stoc was above try this stoli if you can stay up for 600 and 700 gmt candle which is 3 am est usually signal happens between these 2 hours. then put trade on set target and stop and go to sleep thats going to be my way of trading now to be able to get a good 6 hrs sleep and if there is a loss there is a loss a win then theres a win. i dont know when you have to go to work but you can see if there is a signal at 1300 and 1400

harold i took the trade on gpbjpy on close of 3:00 gmt candle, at 4:00gmt. My charts showed a valid signal however as I mentioned in the above post the stochs were barely crossed and only the blue was pointing down, therefore i took it as a weak signal but I can see if that is why your referring to this as no signal.

Lucky me i don't have to work , i just have to go to class (undergrad) and with exams I don't want to be getting up in the middle of the night. But after reading what was said in the chat room I like your idea of staying up til 3am or so and taking those trades.

I know you don't like trading till 2am but I am toying with the idea of looking for signals from 9pm - 3am and at 3 am putting on the TP, SL and maybe a TS.

im not sure how you feel about the asia session, I've been doing some research on what pairs move and ill keep posting my demo results, feel free to let me know what you think

the reason i dont trade the asian or after 1500 is because volumn is low this is a momentum type trade and volumn and volitility is needed are there some moves outside mine time range yes just not enough of them and therefore you can get caught in a false move remember to those that are new to trading DONT OVER TRADE!!!!!

picked up +10pips on AJ last night.

was nervous so changed TP from 20pip to 10pip and went to sleep. Nice job to all those who got 30 - 20 25pips. I need to improve on this section of the methodology. That internal struggle of gains 20...take 10 instead of a lost....its ok....
