Maybe I have my values wrong for the pivot. But after changing mine after London opened, my daily pivot for the London session is at 211.07, my 5sma on my Daily chart is at 210.46

FX, it's all over the map today.
Indicators say one thing..... hunches say another....

211.49 is a strong S/R point.
Even though most indicators say UP, I'd only use that for scalping purposes.

I think she'll get down to 209-208 area before a retest of 214, with a break of that, 217 is free money.

She's just hanging out too much it seems. Something not right about that.
Not enough momentum either way and I think the 212 area is stronger S/R.

If she gets up and breaks R2, well, shorts should get kinda nervous.

WE also have news in an hour.
If it comes in more negative than expected, we'll see down for sure.

The last two days have been boring, pressure cooker days, where you never know when you get into a trade, if it's GONNA go your way or turn around and hit your SL.

Patience is the key.

Don't jump into a trade just to be in one or have that feeling you missed something when it jumps one way or another.

A miss opportunity is better than a Negative one.

Your pivot is right but I think your sma5 is wrong. Are you using MT4? If so the daily indicators are always messed up because of the Sunday data. In VT the sma5 is currently around 210.75 so we'd have to wait for price to go below that before shorting.

MT4 5SMA open is 210.75 and close is 210.90

Yup, I'm using MT4, and my sma 5 is closed, currently at 210.48, using IBFX as broker.

emm what i look the price will go down to 100sma H4 (as a TP, open post n Support) if the price break (open price below) 50ema H1

Givin up trying to figure her out today.
2am and I'm beat.... off to bed.

We just have to worry about all this US news in the am.
IF it's all positive, the Dow could rally and send her North......
IF it's not all positive and the Dow drops, so does the GY usually.

So, tonight's a crap shoot.

208.21 is S3.... if she's get there, I'd be surprised, but who knows these days.

When was the last time there was a 15 minute signal on the US session? Well we have one now. At 0845 Est I had a close below the 60 and daily sma's and a close below the pivot while the price was already below the stp lvl. It dropped almost a hundred pips after that. It is headed towards S1.. As long as the futures market keeps going south It may reach.

If the Dow doesn't rally at all, I'm TP'ing at 208.40.
Just a hair above S3 at 208.21

Glad I stuck to my 'short' guns when I went to bed at 2:30am PST....

Now, figuring things out the next day or two will be fun.
