Forex Factory forecast is -2K. However from dailyfx and other sources I found the forecast to be +15K. I expect 20K deviation (>35K or <-5k) should move AUD/USD by at least 20 pips.

20 pips of movement isnt healthy/safe. unless you have AutoClick and a broker that fills just as fast.

This is why I no longer trade AUD Employment data.
Of course, we may get a surprise number to the upside and AUDUSD will shoot up by 40 pips.

I booked +15 with one broker(limit order) and +22 with another with auto-click. I think I should have let the profit run a little more.

I got a modest 5 pips after the spike.

Made 19 pips with AUD/NZD (an average from 2 lots) with an auto-click.
Oanda widened the spread to 30 pips on AUD/NZD and 20 pips on AUD/USD and AUD/JPY. Looking back, should have traded EUR/AUD whcih moved more than 100 pips on the initial spike :-)

I reviewed my Trade Profile for AUD news. More losses than wins by as much as 3:1

And *not* trading the AUD Employment report today added another one for the loss column (because I did not profited from it).
