AUDUSD - big news tomorrow!

Instincts tell me to long this pair. Big news tommorow about the interest rate statement and retail sales may provide a good buying opportunity. Charts look good too. Thoughts?

Kiwi - I am somewhat of a newbee to forex and have just started trading a real account. I look for a pair to breakout past a 20 day high in the direction of the long term trend. My stop is at a point on the chart where my eyes see previous support and resistence, I also like to keep it within 2 ATR of my entry

Definitely long for tomorrow's announcements. Golf has been cancelled and lunch has been prepared well in advance. I'm looking forward to seeing the movement or salvaging the situation if, for some inexplicable reason, we're wrong.

It will depend on the numbers, but the technicals (charts) look better than they have the last several months. Interest rate being hiked means more return on investments, making the Aussie a profit maker. If i get a good entry, I may long this one for a few weeks.

Hello, i want to share an idea, a trade that i taked.

Well, looking the aud-usd H4 chart, it is seeable a good opportunity, price have done a good impulse wave (from 0.9105 to 0.9285), and after that it touched the 76.4 fibonacci retracement, letting me think that if an extention there will be, it will (can) touch the 176.4 extension level. After that, price hit the trigger of 100 (0.9285), and now it is near the 100 and 76.4 level, i'm in obviously Long, as stoploss there is the 76.4 level, price already goed near it, but not touching it (stoploss not hitted for just 3-4 pips, adrenaline!! i'm risking 10% of my balance), anyway... i think this trade can be quietly good, a lot of confirmations, all we (me) have to do now is wait that price reach the target, and be afraid the less as possible, obviously i can be totally wrong and price can hit the stoploss in the next 30 minutes or the next 4 hours, but for now everything looks right (LOOKS!), so i will wait to see what happen.
Let me know what you think, if you think something about this trade.

Hey, Here is a 5 Min chart where I get my entries. 15 also shows a nice bounce off the 89 SMA. Pair is definatley headed u and this is just more confirmation.

Well, after the little up-move of yesterday, today looks again in the 0.9250-0.9300 territory, the target is still in long distance from here (150-200 pips), anyway we remain in uptrend, so there is not motivation to close positions for now, it's time to wait, i just added another buy, same target and same stoploss. Right now price is doing a little retrace, i guess that more then a retrace we are talking about a bull-frag, anyway let's see what happen.
Rsi on 4h remain overbought (bad sign!) and in the daily chart is not yet overbought, but going nicely up, good sign as well.

Oil has touched 112usd, this is absolutely a nice new rercord, and i guess it will give a nice up-momentum to all usd related pairs, like aud-usd eur-usd nzd-usd etc... that's another good sign! mmm....

Another day passed, we continue to collect swap and pips, trade remain opened, market seems to remain bullish, still waiting to the target to be reached.. Also, longed eur-usd, target : 1.5967, waiting...
