Ah nice, does it have it in 1.7 beta6 or in your latest working version you havent released yet?
If it has it in 1.7 beta6 which setting is it? The only one I can think of is CheckConfirmingTF, which I'm using and it gives good results.
I think CheckConfirmingTF checks so that all indicators also agree on the ConfirmingTimefrime before entering a trade, correct? Not really like trading in the trend in the way I thought of it though.
Please enlighten

Btw I'm currently reading the MQL4 docs so that maybe I can help with the coding later on. I know javascript, php and c++ since earlier, but there's so many new functions and variables to learn here.

Thanks

The CheckConfirmingTrend uses just QQE on the specified TF to determine trend. I like to trade H4 and D1 and use D1 to confirm for H4.

Hi there,

How many lot does the preset will open once signal is generated?

I've tried to change mine, but it always open with 1.30 lots. Any ideas on this?

Also... The post that you showed us is some of the open trades. What happen when the trades are closed? Are most of them in profit?

Thanks..

Hey dominator!

There is still the initial VT file on the first post and that is as far as it got. Cryten himself switched to MT4 after a few weeks and so the VT side was not really in focus any longer. You will find the QQE as a standard on the VT and the DMI and MOM will also be found for sure.
Some other things we are looking at are not really needed for manual trading, so you could still add the CCI and the whole thing ahould work for you on the VT.
Another possibility would be a Demo account with some MT4 broker and then enter the trades on the VT - platform. Really comfortable if you happen to have two monitors or even two computers.

Have fun!

Hi Matt

Thanks for setting up week #2 on your account. Nice to see someone that reads and adheres to the testing standards. Makes it much easier to compare apples to apples.

Hallo Enes!

I see you sitting down there
Your account does not seem to show the 50.000 USD needed for this weeks test - did you forget to change the acc-# for the publisher? Just type in the new demoaccount number and the right thing will broadcast! Well, I guess you know that, LOL, just checked with the FTP again a minute ago and then realized you were online!

Ciao!

I wonder if Rick forgot to activate his EA....his is the only one showing no trades! That's all right, buddy....keep coding

Since we have a number of willing testers, I am going to re-assign the SET files not being used in about 12 hours. The least we can do is gather the data that Rick needs.

Right, seems he set up the account and forgot about the common tab ... We have to keep in mind that some of us are just getting started into the week and step by step the ranks are filling again.
In case of need I would take nother setting, but I guess all will be ready during the next 6-12 hours!

Yeah...we are all in different time zones and the new test instructions did come out later than I would have liked. I'm trying to give everyone a chance to get on the bus but the time will come when the data mining will become more important than waiting any longer. I have no way of knowing if the testers not onboard have moved on to something else and just lost interest.

I just checked again and it seems that FXtradera for instance just forgot to add an extra "0" as he is running the test on a 5.000 account, but apparently with the right settings, as he has multiple EURJPY orders open.
So I think people will come around ... you are completley right with your statement above!

Ciao

I hope all the testers are using the SupernovaStats indicator on each chart. Very valuable information...much more important than the published results as those don't tell us what tf's are profitable.

1.7 has all the features of 1.4 as of the latest beta. The fixed stops and TP were added back in. 1.4 had a mistake in MagicNumbers that that is fixed in 1.7, as well.

Hi Orion,

Thanks for reminding the group about SuperNovaStats. I wrote it specifically to analyze weeks 2 and beyond. It should give us a much clearer idea of where we are really making our profits and where we need to tune. In the past, we have all had some remarkable weeks followed by not so remarkable weeks. Our goal (and I know this part is tedious) is to find good, solid reliable settings that we can depend on week after week in all market conditions. In my opinion, there have been many potentially winning EA's on this and other boards, but few of them are ever finished because the moment they have a bad week, everyone flocks to a new strategy. There is no guarantee that SuperNova or any other EA will be the best thing ever. But we have all seen how effective it is in it's signals. I have always maintained that any system can be successful with great money and risk management and SN seems to give better signals than most, which means the MM/RM won't have to work so hard.

Rick
