Yeah - seems the only thing missing is the EURJPY trade that would have been taken by my setup! BTW - mamajoe is also on standard lots until now. But so far I am amazed at the defensive setting I got, which avoided many trades that would have ended in tears!

Here is screen shot from live account and check out the trades. I am going to bump up the risk% after this week.

Due to the lot size I have been able to let it run over night and wake up to pips in the morning. I turn it on during asian as I get some good drift pips and manually close just before US session when I wake up to let the dogs out.

Rick I agree, your ideas for MM are going to supercharge the supernova.

I had a question as to the Volume results what is it looking for as a filter?

I have it set at default right now (4.236) but I have played around with lower.

Right now with the DMI as an entry filter I will usually get a entry on a good move, and then QQE is the 1st to take me out with pips unless it has a few spikes then trailing PSAR with protect.

Then the QQE/DMI will enter again for the continuation. I have notice that the QQE by itself will reverse on those short PAUSE's that DMI says stay in the same direction and sure enough we get the QQE to reverse again and continue the 1st move.

I had thought about what someone posted earlier about have 2 Inicators agree for exit but I like the full exit for profit and then the re-entry. That picks up two pieces of the move safer rather than waiting for 2 laggings to agree. I aslo love the fact that we can play with a more reactive QQE for exit or even a dif TF which I need to research that more from GNAT.

That's really interesting. I like your method of capturing profits then reentering for the continuation of the move. I too am running beta6 live. I had the original Supernova entry settings of QQE, DMI, Momentum, and T3 but I'm seeing late entry on a move. I think because of the T3. Going to try your settings.

I still have some concerns about the PSAR TS. It doesn't alway seem to move to within 2 candles, even when all the candles are moving in the same direction. I'd be interested in hearing your experience with it. Do you have any special settings for the PSAR?

I look every where in Metatrader 04 for QQE indicator but I couldn't find it anywhere. I like the dot thing, would like to apply to my trade.

Please kindly show me where to look in my metatrader4 platform. I am much graceful.

I have seen that early in the entry but it seems after the price moves a certain distance it cathches up to the two candles back. But the move must be in profit. If it stays negative I see it does not move which can be good if your in a trade a bit early and waiting for it to take off.

Maybe Rick can shed some insight on that.

Hello everyone!

I am from Europe, Sweden and new to forex, have just been trading on demo for about a month. So I'm new to forexfactory and this thread too. Have spent last 2 days reading through the whole thread!
I really like this system and have seen what you manual traders can get out from it! I think the EA can be really kick ass! I haven't had much time to test this system manually yet. I went long as the screenshot says, but I shouldn't have because of daily pivot there (purple line). It was GBP/JPY 10 min. Last qqe at 15m says take short so I think I'll do that soon.

Hi Dee,

Yes, lot calculations will work no matter the broker. It will always generate the number of lots required to match the % risk.

Hi Newera,

Not sure if this is the case you are seeing, but the PSar 2 candles requires that both candles be in the direction of the desired trend. So if you are trailing a long order, it must see 2 candles in a row both close up before it applies the TS.

I'll have to watch it again. Pretty sure there were more than 2 candles in a row. I'll let you know. Thanks for explaining how the rules are applied.

EDIT: check post 4486 where I uploaded some screen shots of examples of the PSAR being further back than 2 candles without any candles in the opposite direction. In particular, the screenshots of the GBP/YEN (although this was on beta 5 version, if that makes a difference).

Rick so what is the Stats Indy looking at?

-closed trades from Account history?
-Arrows on the chart?
-"would of "Trades from the EA?
-Actual Trades from the EA?

I'd like to understand why a trade was not placed on this setup. I'm using beta6. I have QQE and DMI as the only entry parameters. This looks like a clean cross of the DMI and QQE but no entry. Please explain in case I'm missing something.

A quick note about my testing and an user related error.

Somehow I unchecked or forgot to check the box to enable trading for my EURCHF. I discovered this while I was checking the status of another trade.

Anyhow, my sntest8 has missed 2 trades for EURCHF. 1 Buy @ 14:00GMT (jan28) and 1 Sell @ 03:00GMT (jan29)

I also wanted to note that my EURJPY still has not closed and has retraced about 50+ pips.

What is your DMI set to in the EA you have (7) on the chart but if your EA is default than it is (14) you need to change the chart to match the EA settings.
