there was none today yesterday was one get yourself a interbankfx demo or a rjofx dealbook platform i use dealbook better data feed than meta trader just my observance over the years

Harold and others who are on InterbankFX, they dont provide CADJPY pair .. how do you get signals for that?

Not sure about InterbankFX. I do get my charts from :

http://www.metaquotes.net/

They do have CadYen. Thats how I do it

Thats just the software provider, you still have to connect to the broker. Harold uses InterbankFX.. but they dont have cj pair.

Harold uses RJOFX to trade, but has IBFX running as well.

My broker is FX Solutions and they have CadYen.All I needed extra was the CadYen charts and that I got from metaquotes.

Does your current broker not provide CadYen ?

InterbankFX doesnt have CADJPY, which means on MT4 they dont provide the feed of it - hence no charts!!!

I was wondering how he gets the CADJPY signals using IBFX since they dont have that pair at all !!

You need to add that symbol in. If you noticed that many symbols will not show up in MT4 installation. Open up SYMBOLS, right click on panel and select SYMBOLS to add the pair you want...

I did, its not there

I downloaded the MT4 software from their website... i think they have removed it from their installation...

are you all using IBFX to get your datafeed and have CADJPY as well?

I am one using InterbankFX for my live trades so I just don't trade that pair.

InterbankFX doesn't offer that pair, you would have to go through a different provider that does in order to see the chart. The way I understand it is that Harold trades through RJOFX which offers the CADJPY pair but they don't use MT4. He uses the demo of InterbankFX because its easier to capture the screen shots and post them and there data is very close to his RJOFX data the he trades from. He also uses the MT4 for his alert indicator that rings his phone.
This might be obvious to some but by looking at a demo account, how can you tell what time frame the broker is using..ie 00 GMT, +1, +2 etc?

The easiest way takes you a couple of minutes.
Double click the time in the bottom right hand corner of your monitor. (Windows toolbar)

A clock will pop up.
Select "Time Zone" and set it to GMT.
Click "OK"

Your time stamp will change to pure GMT.

Compare the current time of a bar on your chart with what you now know to be GMT.

This will tell you the difference in your chart time and GMT.

You can get cad/jpy by opening a demo account with just about any other broker that has been mentioned. IBFX is just one that does not offer that pair. By the way, how is the EA comming?

I just signed up to try a demo account on odlsecurities.com They have the pair and are on the same time frame as IBFX and use MT4.

you are right, i think i was a bit annoying .. sorry guys .. it was the curiosity, and funny part is that i dont use ibfx - im on alpari
