Dislikedv2.4 is the last official version. Anything with a different number is either named incorrectly or a different version.Ignored
DislikedMaybe I am just being silly, but I cannot get the last open position to trail?
Could I humbly ask someone to post a screenshot of the settings they are using where the TS is working properly please?
Thanks in advance

DislikedThis truly is an amazing idea, and one that I would dearly like to use, but the fact is this. We are now on page 14 of questions and suggestions that are not being answered?
I can only assume that the author has either lost interest or does not want to address the questions asked?

DislikedHi Wayne, I think people have lost interest because the system works well and there is nothing more to be said that hasn't already been addressed somewhere in this thread. I found this EA (TPv2_4) to work well , but I decided to answer my own question of how to adjust the EA, by doing what the well known trader Rob Booker is doing.
I will not be using this EA, but simply open two trades. One with a TP of 20 and the other with a TS, but I will use a huge TS in order to give it breathing space, so that I can have that occasional benefit of a 300 to 500 pip move. Maybe set the terminal alarm for when certain levels are reached or just use a BE Expert Advisor or move them manually.

I have been testing out your take profits EA and just having some issues. I have attached a screenshot of my settings. I am trying to take 0.2 of a lot out of every 10pips profit I make, but only want me stop-loss to move to breakeven after I have reached 30pips mark. But instead it moves it to breakeven after only 10pips, which of course stops me out of the trade to early.
Thank you much for any incite you can provide.

DislikedHas any one else experience a premature closing of trade?
Here is the scenerio:
15M Chart open with a trading EA attached.
2nd 15m chart opened with MTP attached.
Both are on and both have smiley face.
Trading EA opens a trade and MTP closes one tick later.
I have had this happen quite often. Help.....
ThanksIgnored
DislikedStockwet, thanks for this EA. Been using it for a while and it has certainly earned me and a lot of other people a lot of pips.
I didn't realise the EA I was using was this one.
But I was attracted to this forum because I am looking for a new EA, and I think this used to be the EA I am after.
Let me explain. The EA I have uses an increment to shut fixed lots at regular pip levels. (this is the one I am using now)
It looks like it used to close lots at pre-determined pip levels. (this is the one I want)
Why and when did it change? Is the earlier one still available?
CheersIgnored
DislikedHi Stockwet
Please do me a favour, just post a screenshot of your settings, thanks.
All I want is the EA to close the first portion at X, the second X later and trail the balance by X.
For the life of me, I cannot get this to work?
Please folks, anyone that has this EA working like this, please, please post a screenshot of your settings so that I can see what the hell it is that I am doing wrong?
Thanks
