Hi All,
When I write EAs, I tend to make pretty much everything an extern variable. If my EA has an MA in it for example, I would have every parameter of the MA (period, method, applied_price, etc) as an extern variable. I do this for 2 reasons, 1 is if I ever change my mind about something in the future it's easy to change, but also so I can make sure my EA is as effective as possible.
The problem I have is this. When I go to strategy test my EA, when I try and use all the combination of variables, there are often 10s of thousands, and the strategy tester tries to "help" me by only testing a few hundred (it seems to change each time). Does anyone know how I can bypass this, and have it just run the 30,000 combinations. I don't care if it takes 3 days!
Thanks,
Dan.
