Does anybody think if UJ falls more than 106.50 the BOJ will be involved?
I'm sure with this price action, they will act to give it a major jump, but I don't know the exact range which triggers them to do so.

Does anybody have any idea?

I doubt that BOJ will do anything. I am thanking my lucky stars this AM, clsoing out all GBP longs after UK news. May still be putting in a bottom soon, just had to capitulate...we'll see.

Somewhere between 105 and 107 a shot will be fired. They have already 'warned' investors several weeks ago, so there may be no formal warning this time. Yen strength will not be allowed to go unchecked. Expect UJ to start its march back to 113 area soon (based on daily chart)

Take a look at the monthly UJ chart where a triple bottom around 101 could potentially form. Thats where I expect the shot firing, if any, to take place.

Cable's been good to me lately whilst GBPJPY hasn't. Take a look at this bearish Gartley formation.

Looks pretty tradeable if we see signs of reversal.

I did not feel comfortable last night so I stood aside. Today I sold 3 shorts just under 212 area after it rejected. I booked 2 of the shorts around the 210.24 area, and kept one short. It made a higher low there. I bought the pair at 210.38 for a hedge (upon rejection around 210.38/20 area), and scalped long to 210.78. My hourly chart still shows some upward room to move up, where I will build more shorts at previous support around 210.90 area.

On an upmove look for previous support areas to short. On a downmove look for previous areas of resistance to buy. Draw your fibs backwards....

My MA's are default from the custom indicators at my MT4 platform. Not sure what they are.

I dont think it matters that much.


Just remember to think outside the box. You know where the market will go from the monthly and weekly charts.

You draw fibs with extensions.


You look for support areas on an uptrend.
You look for resistance areas on downtrend.

I know it sounds backwards, but 95% of the traders get it wrong and chase the market.

Think outside the box......


Use the 5 sma high and low channel to determine retraces, and direction.

Use moms to determine momentum.
