dear mysticgenie
there are many person in there that they language isn't english.I'm one of them,mybe you too. but my english ( and many of them ) is'n very well to find your trading system from many notes in this topic. and i know that you are busy, but if possible write your system's detail in a litle note to we.

Hi mystic,

By looking at last week COT i thought that the AUD will weaken in value, also you mentioned in your earlier post that AUD will be bearish, can you comment what happened to the AUD/USD pair in the last days when AUD strenghened strongly against the USD ?

Did the holidays had some impact on the COT or where there any significant news regarding any of those currencies ?

Did you take a look at the AUD news releases this week?
They were fundamentally to AUD`s advantage.
Also Gold went to an all time high.

Nice work automan. I appreciate you putting the start date in your summary - 33% return over 5 years is not as impressive as 33% since November 27, 2007. Can you also summarize the average number of positions opened per day? I'd like to know how often this system generates signals. I currently open long term positions 2-3 times a week and only check the market twice a day, so having to place a lot of trades during the day would be a strain (too bad Oanda's API is so dang expensive!)

Excellent question---
I also mentioned with my view that last wk's COT report is not true representative d/t thin market conditions---I'm waiting for this wk's COT report to be released tomorrow, which will be much better for future direction---Agree w/ Ultimate, Aud had some good news this wk & also commodity factor---Also remember another thing, it may take few wks for a COT report to play out--- personally, I think, the sustainability of this wk's movement will be dependent on equity market's performance next few wks, as corporate US come out w/ its Q4 numbers---

Hi Mystic, I had a quick question. I was just wondering since you say the COT sometimes is usually a week or more behind or better said that spot fx is about a week behind (i am unsure which is which) does this really affect your "wild thing" system and if so how. Thank you for everything...Joe

more trades are generated on H1 compared to H4

by looking at the profitable pairs results in my blog, i think u will roughly know what will be the estimate like, although it might vary by month to month...

i have yet to do any analysis on this..lemme do it on the weekend and i will come back to u

Hi Mystic, is it safe to say that I can use the Laguerres to duplicate your "Wild Thing" results? I see you said you used them for entries and exits and you presented a screenshot with an arrow showing the entry on the Blue lag moving with the Red one on a one hour chart. Thank you in Advance...Joe

MG, can you please post your view on COT this week ? I'm specially interested in majors (eur/gbp/yen).
My view:

eur: bear
cable: indecision/bull
yen: bear

But strong unexpected news like it happened this week could change it to opposite, just like this week.

Ok---here goes possible scenarios for next wk based on COT report (01/08)-- Please use your discretion, proper MM & favorable TA to trade this report---It may take more than a wk to play out the scenarios---

Cad: Bearish
Chf: Volatility w/ bullish bias
Gbp: Volatility w/ bearish bias
Jpy: Volatility w/ bullish bias
Eur: Volatility w/ neutral bias
Nzd: Bearish
Aud: Bearish bias
