Hi Matt,

I implemented it slightly differently. I gave you a TF value that applies to QQE only. The original exit TF applies to allother indi's. The comments in the inputs will explain it.

I am still studying the Imran stuff. It will be easy to implement as a simple crossover, but I will add it this weekend so I'm not rushing. Not much volatility on Friday, anyway.

So here is beta3 with your QQE exit change. Hopefully you can do a little testing before market close.

Yes, Rick, it appears to be an overlay of the same Laguerre with different gamma settings. He is using EX4, rather than MQ4, so I do not know if he added some secret sauce or not. I presume that he did.
Thanks for the new beta. You are awesome. Tell your daughter to keep coding for you. She is doing a great job!

Can you say what's difference between 1.4 and 1.7 for the ea ?

I haven't read all thread but you have doing a great job...

ExtremFx: There were lots of problems with exits with 1.4, except, apparently, when one ran only the basics, such as QQE alone.
I suggest you run with the newest version by Myers, who has it working on many levels and continues to refine it, almost daily. It is now very responsive and is going to make you Filthy, Stinking, Delightfully RICH and Famous.
Also have a look at the fine EA by Trendchaser. Several people are having good success.

I'll be interested to find out if anyone is using the ea on longer TF's as well. My original supernova EA that was doing so well in December is getting it's butt kicked this month. I now switched it to the 1.7 beta3 on QQE only 4HR chart. We'll see how that works.

Right now I've got 3 platforms running, one on 5M, one on 15, and one on 4HR

Het Gnatster, I would like to chat with you regarding the varied lag exits when you have some time. Perhaps my Sunday night/ your Monday? I'll check in this weekend.

The beta3 is working nicely as far as I can see. Another good entry still on the 15M and the exits may be only on Monday. I will keep you posted as something happens - so far things are running really smoothly. I am entertaining pairs that I normally would not use in order to study the behaviour a bit. Maybe I will get some information togather over the weekend about that.

Thanks for the kind words. This is very much a group effort and I'm really happy to help out such a great group of traders.

Glenn, Imran's ex4 appears to have some smoothing algorithm applied to the data and the values are slightly different, but the crosses occur at the same candles nearly all the time.

No, it really is me (Rick). I'm not sure where Glenn got that idea about my daughter coding. I had been telling him in an email about my daughter turning 16 and wanting to drive. She has been bribing me to get her license, but she has yet to offer help with coding

LOL! that is funny. I am now letting my 12 yr old drive. Ever since I took her shooting with me and let her shoot my .45 she thinks she is an adult. I took her to the cemetery for her first driving lesson. I explained that I took her to the cemetery because that way if she killed us both we would be close to our final destination and it would save the family a lot of work. She is now a pretty good driver - I let her drive around on the country roads. She even drove our 15 passenger van lol! That was a trip the first time - I thought I was going to end up back at the cemetery.

After going thru the initial posts I have the following observations to make of the “Super Nova” (from the posts of course):
1. Best time to trade is M15.
For manual trading that may be true, yes.
2. Trading is ok in any direction (please someone clarify that).
Short or Long are possible, you may get in on trend and retracement.
3. The CCI, DMI-14, T-3 are the core indicators of this system. Momentum is also there but not in the initial posts.
The core of the system is the QQE (QQEA). The CCI is an add on the MOM was always part of the show.
4. The best setups are from 2AM-6AM Eastern (7AM-11AM GMT), although 100+ moves keep on occurring in the market outside of those bounds (I don’t even know why I wrote this).
You wrote this, because it is right! Other openings may also have a good trade in store though.
5. It is also possible to enter on the M5 using M15 as the reference. I did not find what to look on the M15 to enter on the M5? Please explain in detail if possible.
Guess it is the other way round. Getting in on the 15M you may wanna check with the 5M to see whether the QQE cross has already taken place. Maybe also on the 1M for fun. Then check the 1H & 4 H to find the small to midterm trend.
6. The usual stop loss recommendation is above the T3 line.
Is it??
7. It is best to enter a trade with the T3 above the HA candle, when going short. or below when going long.
It is in my opinion the other way round. The T3 line must be broken downward to enter a short and it must be crossing (or crossed on smaller TFs) to enter a long from below.

Hi Gnat!
I went thru the replies to my post. Help understand the entry point.
The attachment is a screen shot from my demo (GBPCHF, just before the London open). The last arrow down has 12 candles of red. And the T-3 is going thru the 1st and the 2nd red candles. The arrow itself (the QQEA cross that is) occurred on the 2nd candle. On which candle am I supposed to get in on? I know there is not a hard and fast rule but generalizations should be there of some sort.

Well, maybe I should let my 9 year old daughter do the testing. Intuitiv testing more or less! Sometimes laymen see more!!

So far all is well with the beta3. 12 minutes to go and no close in sight!

Hey Dogstyler!

This definitely was the day of missed posts! Just realized that during my answer you were actually logged in here! : And you let Lizzy drive the big old van? Why not start the driving lessons on a Main Battle Tank ?.. LOL!! But the trick with the cementry is may a lasting impression and will help to keep the youngsters from speeding. What kept me from speeding in the first years was my car... a 1200 VW "Käfer" with 34h.p.! (How do you call it a Bug or a Beelte?) That car really taught me driving! Drum breakes, tiny power and then driving on the German Autobahn - yeeha!
