displays only 4hrs, daily, weekly, monthly. I use daily for intraday trading. which is very useful for g/j.

Thanks, I just thought there might exist an MT4 indicator which prints the 4hr pivots automatically on my charts. Would save some time.

Nope, not easy at all, just another tool to use to help me in my quest to determine where price is headed. Again, charts tell me direction, pivots tell me possible targets. I use the 1hr/15min chart a lot with pivots, seems to correlate more than using them with higher TF. . .

Anyway, hope this helps = another tool for the tool belt for ya!

So on the 1 hr daily candle that just closed at 213.07 price could reach S3 212.68? just theoritically?

This tool shows daily, weekly and monthly pivots.

There maybe I just don't use it. . .
I try to have less stuff on my charts as possible so I can see a clearer pitcure while trading. Right now I've gotten my charts down to fibs, trendlines, Mom, RSI, Stoch and 5 SMA. Trying to get indicators down to one because they tend to lag and I don't find many of them that helpful. . .
Anyway, I'm sure someone out there has one you can load onto your charts. . .

Here is my take. . .
Take a look at 4hr pivot chart it should have updated, price hit 212.90 just now and bounced so if it closed above 213.48 4hr pivot then chances are it will hit 213.90 before going back down. Now if price close today above 4hr pivot and daily s1 then chances are it will head toward daily pivot before heading back down. . .

The reverse applys if it close beneath them. Lets see where it closes at the end of the day. . . Another thought is this, since hitting todays lows, price is making higher lows. . . Look at your 15min chart you will see it clearly. . .

hers my chart q... to me that last swing on 15 tells is confusing...IE we WERE getting higher lows but then this last swing is still unclear to me.... so to me the upper red tl shlould hold and she will bounce down lower from there .... its a demark thing.... but i am not sure if this swing is over or not or where the last swing started ended???? notice how the tls line up with your pivots too.... a million ways to the same s/r areas i guess....

Its aleady made it low for the week so it has to go back up before it goes back down even lower. 214 maybe the top but maybe not. . .

A close above 213.31 would imply to me that we could see daily pivot next week. A close below daily pivot would imply 210 is in the cards next. . .

I'm giving the carry a shot into next week. It's due - And the great thing about the carry trade is it can go up for no good reason. If the Equity markets catch a bid next week, might be all it takes. 217 seems within reach on a bounce.

A small observation fueled partly by sleep deprivation, too much "caffiend"... and sad experience.

It's getting late friday session, thin liquidity, tanking dow, (or it was a little earlier), close of trading in a couple hours, and so on. I never expect things to make sense this time of the week. Instead of short/long this or that, I start thinking about what i really want to leave open or not over the weekend when the "GAP" gremlins will be thinking about how they want to freak me out at the Sunday PM open...

PS rest well this weekend all...

pivot timeflame displays the pivot, S1,S2,S3 and R1,R2,R3, on your chart.
