whew just able to squeek out +25 with a eurcad cadjpy combo i took no trades in early morning cadjpy left the station way before i got there and gbpusd also left early when i got there it has already moved a days range though even if i got in i still would have made +30 but why take the chance .this combo was worth it both pairs left the station together to me that made sense

well based on daily charts now if they stay the same monday with only have eurcad long and cadjpy short slim pickins since they are both in very very ob/os areas total for me this week 105 which is in target with my weekly goal

still in cad/jpy short, little nervous very near triggering my SL.
maybee the double zero has saved me?

if i can get back to breakeven i may exit.

at breakeven, but.....

i know this might be bad thing to do, have droped to 10min chart to manage exit.

i use to but havent done it for a very long time when markets are like this i usually try and take a small piece of pie and have my finger on the close postion button i dont like to play around this gets me out of the hoping and a wishing mindset

the markets are tough when they get in these ob/os areas you have to be patience and quick to get a few and get out

logical hope you were watching eurcad while trading cadjpy so you can see the correlation it seems one goes 1 way while the other goes the other way well that just about wraps things up for this week no more news its friday and trading will start slowing to a halt

i still in this trade. stop missed (just) agiain, then a big reversal back below double zero.
can I take this as good sign trade now going in my direction?

what i see is price when it spikes down and then next candle is a reversal candle usually price goes back towards moving average so mayme ema is showing resistence i hope this is the case for you

good job joel 60 is not bad at all times it by 4 240 again not bad considering the way the markets are right now anyone else make some profit this week?

G/U short, i picked up +10 off the 7.00GMT candle before it reversed, what a pity that move hadn't started an hr later lol.
total for week = +45 all G/U shorts.

90 pips for the week. 16 trades, 9 winners/ 7 losers. My last two trade of the day today, both losers, should not have been taken...oh well, live and learn...

Thanks marty, bt i really dont know how to put the attachment in my mt4. wht i tried changed the chart settings that i already have i.e. the indicators' settings on my cahrts-the ema s were changed to 3, 7,25 closed sma. Is this the right thing?

Click on the paperclick in the upper right corner of this thread. That is a list of all the attachments. StochasticDiNapoli_v1.mq4 is found on Jan 8. Put that in your experts\indicators folder and restart MT4. It should then show up in your Custom Indicators list.

Glad To See Some People Making Some Money It Was A Tough Week With All The Pairs In Oversold/overbought Areas Wcalem If You DiDnt Make Those 2 trades You Would Have A Super Week Here You Only Had A Good Week. Still 9 Wins 7 Losses And You Still Made 90 Pips Yowser! by the way the only signals for monday are eurcad long and cadjpy short very very overbought and oversold trade with extreme caution

No you just want two moving averages a 5, exponential, close and an 8, exponential, open. Make them different colors so you can tell them apart. Then to add the stoch, open the Navigator pane by clicking its icon in the toolbar at the top of MT4. Then open the list of Custom Indicators. In there you should find the StochasticDinapoli_v1 if you have put it in the correct folder. Click and drag that indicator from the Navigator pane to the price area of the chart and it will show up below that area in its own separate area. Similarly, add the Relative Strength Index or RSI indicator. Its parameters should pop up, set the period to 13. Click on its Levels tab and make sure it has a 50 level.
I hope that makes sense.
