AUD/USD confirming trend change - heading higher

If AUD/USD closes above 0.8850, we could be seeing a trend change and see the price go higher.

200DMA held

What do you guys think?

I'll be watching, but I remain sceptical. Of course my patience ran out and I closed my longs ...

Nothing long term, though. The Dollar may have more upside, IMO. USD Govt. mortage plan is very positive for economy. I am feeling very patriotic this AM, and unceratin about reaching new dollar lows, despite what everyone is saying. If oil goes down $15 could be interesting.

All we've seen is a bounce off prior support (0.867). 0.885 is the immediate testing material before I can even considering to be getting "jiggy" with it

Then there's several resistance ahead just prior to 0.90. And the fact that Gold has skyrocketed and AUD/USD is just a bystander tells me to be cautious, while the Yen strength leaves me sidelined for such commodity pairs.

We've already got these two threads here and here. Sorry to say but starting another thread with that headline is rather irresponsible to the uninitiated. Not posting this to kill this thread, just saying I ain't blowing my AUD/USD trumpet yet.

oops... sorry.... I didn't know that there were specific threads dedicated to all the AUD pairs.

I just think it'll benefit our learning if we consolidate our conversations on related topics. A new thread for each significant rallies on an FX pair would be nightmarish to try and reference what was discussed, don't you think?

I'll apologise in advance if my post seems dictative, not my intentions at all.

FWIW, my outlook is bullish for the Aussie.


EDIT: Just tried to read the Auslanco & GBP threads... OMG what a chore that was trying to keep up with it Thankfully, the Aussie doesn't have that much fanfare which makes it more reader-friendly

Good stuff wobble. I was long AJ same good pippage, not as good as yours but positive nonetheless.
