Sorry, for some reason I was thinking that price had to close under (short)/over (long) the 5 ema in addition to the indicators lining up (I guess I just inferred that since it is the case in most MA crossing styles). But I just re-read the rules and that is not a criteria. My mistake, E/J is a valid call.

No Problem Mr W I Understand Others Do It That Way To Me Its Irrelevent Since All Moving Average Are Is Math Calculations They Also Are Moving Trendlines If You Want To Really Be Technical But I Dont Want To Lol

Just a simple question looking at the actual situation on gbpusd 4.53 am gmt. we have already the emas cross and a good rsi ... so the decision rely just on the cross of stochastic ... is this OK with our rules for shorting today???

Hey,

I was wondering if anybody had encountered any issues with this latest alert here that is posted. Does it signal you when all 3 indicators line up everyhour that they are lined up. Thanks in advance.

Just so I am sure about this.

According to my IBFX demo on the gbpusd there was a doji ending at 7.00GMT which was the short signal at 1.9734. It looked like the 1.9711 you took was at 8.00GMT not 7.00GMT.

The gbpjpy I agree with.

The eurjpy 160.75 was at 13.00 GMT and not 12.00 GMT as you said.

What do you think?

itguy - your indicator works fine on my mt4 platform - very good for overview. I noticed once that it didn't update on the hour, but other than that it correlates perfectly with H4x system. (except you are using AUDJPY instead of CADJPY - which is fine by me since i'm from oz).

Harold4x - grateful for your ongoing words of wisdom and experience. system is much appreciated. patience, discipline, plan, momentum, discretion - all great concepts to embrace.

Today I haven't taken any trades yet but, if I do I will look to sell GBPUSD and CADJPY.

good morning everyone, hello autaret.

i do expect something in NY session, but i have no idea what!
my plan is

cad/jpy trend is down, has upper resistance at 109 and 109.50, failure to break these levels after testing, followed by a h4x signal will give me the balls to enter short

eur/jpy, trend down. i have upper resistance at 161.50 to 161.80, failure to break this level, followed by h4x signal to go short wil give me strength to do so.

eur/cad, trend is up. I see assending triangle, and want price to break and close above 1.4850 (obiosly there will be a signal to go long if this happens), but i want to see a retrace and test of the 1.4830 area before going long.

these are just my additions to h4x method, i hope i don't confuse anyone.
just adding to that element of discretion that we should all have.
you could still just follow the signals that the stochs/MA/rsi gove though

also news to watch out for, Trichet ECB and US afternoon chat.

5:13 GMT short GJ @ 214.70 hit SL @ 214.62 = $72.92
3:16GMT short GC @ 2.1832 hit SL @ 2.1828 = $35.85

I also went short at 6GMT on EJ @ 160.87 and hit SL @ 161.25 = -$345.87 what went wrong there??? eveything was lined up...

anyone had the same loss???

What I don't understand is why you consider GY, and EY still good for short when yesterday the Stochastic closed above the signal. Also GC has been above signal for the last 3 days

5.13 & 3.16GMT are TOO early for this syetem.....I think that is till saian session, and vunerable to thin liquidity/quick changes..

6GMT, is just a loss from what i can see, \you are right, all was lined up crrectly.
don't loose faith, you have to loose 40% of the time if you win 60% of the time
