Yea Orion, I've got the same problem. It's the same problem that I had with the 1.5 version. EA has been on almost 12 hrs, no trades. I was wondering if it could be the template I'm using? As far as I know, as long as all the indi's are in the right folder it shouldn't matter, right?

Hi Wolfe,

Orion did get some trades, but it took a while. Look in the Experts and Journal tabs to see if anything obvious is failing.

Not sure what happened....it went 12 hours without a trade and then made four trades in the next hour.

I think on smaller TFs waiting for DMI & MOM or others will sometimes even lead to the Laguerre or QQE to turn around again. Safety on the very small TFs may lead to no trade at all.
From the TFs >=1H I know that the DMI can postpone trades by one or two candles sometime. I still need to find out what effect it has on the 15M or 30M.
Maybe someone with more focus on the 5-30M could help us here?

Hi All,

I am very new to this method and am interested to test it. But i am confused with the usage now because i see two extra indicators:-

1) laguerre
2) Juice

????

How do these two work regarding with what cryten has originally posted?

Is the original method still like these or already deviated after 200+ posts?

1) hekein ashi is cleanly above or below the t3
2) momentum has cross the grey dotted line
3) directional movement index agrees it is a high probability trade to go with the qqe alert

Can anyone help me out with this?

THank You!

Hallo Morton & Welcome!

The Laguerre and Juice have been added to the family of Glenn's EAs in order to make the samller TFs more tradeable. They are "legitimate deviations" in order to make the EAs more felxible in use and to make entries and exits safer and faster.
You are right that they were not part of the setup in the very beginning, but then it was a manual trading concept and the robotic side came as an addition later on.
The massive front of indicators may seem threatning at first glance, but there is no need and no reason to use them all in all surroundings (pairs&timeframes). Initially even the CCI and the Damiani were not part of the show. But with all possibilities at hand there will be good settings fast.

Best Wishes!
Gnat

You've been trading since London open and are still up? And I thought the Dogstyler had it hard as he was up until my late afternoon!
Tough Wolf we have here! My concentration would have gone to shatters hours and hours before if I were in your shoes - I'm a sleep addict!

BTW, You are allowed to have a longish nap now!!

I am running numerous pairs on the five min window.
Entry on everything but juice/vol/Laguerre.
Exit on everything except Laguerre.
Set CCI at period 14 and threshold 114.
Will report. Glenn

Hallo Glenn!

Do you have any nice LaGuerre settings for an entry? And why do you not use it for exits? Guess I need to look at this from a different angle as I am looking into 15M for the first time for an EA.

The QQEA or adjustable QQE is the core engine of the set of indicators here, or at least should be. The QQEA is steered by the SF (smoothing factor) with a standard at 1, the internal RSI with a standard at 14 and the Darfactor at 4.236. This Darfactor is a really neat little tweaker. Look at a standard QQE and then set the QQEA below that on a chart with a Darfactor of 3. You will see a massive increase in reactivity. Maybe good for lower TFs?!

Hey Gnat!! Happy New Year!!

u can try between .45 and .6 (for entry/blue lag) depending on ur objectives.
I also look at a few other things which often give me a heads up BEFORE the blue lag signals.
Macd Colored v 1.03 - default
Lin Q 8 13 3

if u want something a bit slower than macd colored, u can try stoch 5 13 3. u may find this useful for entering after retracements near attempts at dbl tops/botms.

since some of these are not part of EA Snova versions, this would be for manual trading.

hope that helps.

Guess I saw you on that thread there! But I just realized that the LaGuerre postpones some entries that the QQEA would have taken earlier. Maybe I should tune the Laguerre a bit to outsmart the original. Do you have any good short TF settings from the Imrain thread?

Entries are dead-on. Most CCI exits were good, also, but it ignored a few of them, which went on to stop out. Also, it does not exit on the QQEA.

u can try gamma ~ .7 / .8 area with a cross of .15 / .85 for the exits

personally, i usually exit/scale out (manually) b4 that signal based on other things like S/R pivot levels, MACD 5 13 1, stoch 5 13 3
