I didnt exactly "call" for it to go down, but based on the fact that 109.75 was a very strong resistance, and on the way the price quickly shot up to 109.75 but got hammered down in a few seconds showed that it was a pretty convincing price rejection. Oh plus the fact that there was a shooting star/pin bar on the 5 minute charts.

Stochs happened to also be turning down from overbought region. sometime around 10.30 GMT.

was wondering about the tredline u mentioned that was acting as resistance because i missed that one.... and i do not like to miss tls..... did u have a chart that showed(s) it? or was it the smaller tf that u metnioned coupled with the price action only?

I posted the chart a while earlier.

Right now USD/JPY is floundering in a nice right angled triangle. (supported by an ascending trendline u draw from 4th jan on a 30 min chart. approximately touched 6 times - pretty important if you ask me)

I went for a short of GBP/JPY. USD/JPY has broken its support, and GBP/USD is experiencing a downtrend.

I really couldnt resist the USD/JPY trendline break. But now that it seems like a false breakout, I think I must have been lucky to have even take a few pips off that short.

keep an eye on dow futures, and especially S&P futures. We dont have a news trigger today, so the U.S. Session will be determined by market sentiment. If risk tolerance creeps back into the market UJ and Geppy will rise. I tp my long from 214.39 at 215.79 and scalped the retrace down to the 200 sma on my 15 min chart, and the 5 sma low on the hourly. I am building longs to the 23 fib at 217.45 area.
