So now currently, with signals on all the pairs in the rjofx platform

and three of em O/S (gbps)
2 conflicting eurs (one strong, one weak)
1 conflicting gbp (two weak, one strong)
and all three jpy showing strength

that leaves only cadjpy to trade, is that right, harold?

whoops nevermind, i just seen your post

right on, that was a quick 35 pips on cadjpy!

also, i took a third trade on the eurjpy before the news and got lucky with +30 pips there. Third times a charm, right....

I saw the alerts on gbpjpy, gbpchf amd eurcad but passed on them due to the legnths of the previous candles... looks like all would have worked out nicely.

edit:cadjpy as well

so lets hear from the stands who made some money this week today etc and marty thats ok you will catch the next bus. when we see all the pairs moving you then look for the correlation most times i dont like spike bars but in this case the market was tipping its hand yen strong across the board cad weak to me anyway a no brainer whats the worst that could happen you lose? so its part of trading there is a possible chance to lose on every trade if you are not in it you cant win it. but to those who stayed out no biggie there will be other days and other signals and other wins and other loses accept the fact that there will be losing trades and you have won half the battle

Yes harold, best thing since sliced bread.....LOL

on a serious note...(don't take this the wrong way, I am only asking) have you had a look at your strategy on 30mins TF instead of 1hour ? I ask because if you're going for 30 to 50 pips moves using shorter TF might be better. You get earlier entries and catch some good pips.

i have examined that in the past and found that anything lower than that causes to many whips 30 min trends are found within the 1 hr charts. these pairs i trade move quite a bit a candle often times is 100+ pips thats why i dont trade the majors there moves are in 30's not that they cant go more but the average range is smaller thats why i grab a few and skidadle on a side note the gbpchf has been so oversold on daily charts yet it continues to go lower must be a lot of chocolate and watchs were sold before christmass lol

Hey, I am very happy. +164 pips this week before commissions. My broker really pulled my ass out of the fire today. They basically paid for 78 trades worth of commission on the fill they got me (see end of post 1159). I ended up with a little more cash in my account today than I had yesterday and that is the "key to the mint" . My thoughts exactly...waiting for the next bus!

I understand your point, my question was based on the fact that I usually work on the 30mins chart. That is also where I like to look for exit points as explained yesterday.

Since I am always on the 30mins chart I thought I'll have a look at it and ask your opinion.

Thanks for your prompt answer

Hey Everybody,

I was wondering what did you mean exactly by saying that the stoc had turned over. Could you clarify this abit for me. Thank you very much and I appreciate all your help.

the stoch turning over means if it is crossed to downside and signal is short and you are in a trade at the end of a candle that closed the stoc crossed up thats all it means

I closed the week w/ +270 pips. I never took more than 50 pips for gbp/jpy or more than 30 for the rest.

Thanks Harold.
