I am not trading these signals for now, I just opened up my MT4 and they don't look so good right now. Maybe later on during the day.

Harold4x

that was a great post, I agree with you 100% on the compounding issue. Also I would like to thank you for all you're doing for the people following this thread. Great job

Harold,

I agree 100% with what you said. This works and the compound of results is all you need to build your wealth. I am trading your system during the evening and just finished up. Here are my numbers so far tonight. I am looking forward to the European session in a few hours.

Entry Exit Pips
GBPJPY Short 215.28 214.78 +50
EURJPY Short 160.97 160.57 +40
CHFJPY Short 98.26 98.06 +20

Total +110

Thank you Harold,

PipPrince

Prince, mate would you be a little more helpful and tell us what time (GMT) did you place your trades on? I am just looking at the charts (IBFX) and cant really find any good opportunity .. I cant spot a single crossover on hourly, I can see RSI and STOCH heading in the right direction - for example @ 2GMT on eurcad there was a crossover on stoch, rsi was below 50 but no crossover on emas .... did you still trade?

Harold, whats the deal, have you made anything yet? I have downloaded IBFX and trying to following your signals ...

cheers

Anyone here using Alpari UK ????? Their time is EST (EU time, +1GMT) I need to know how they get their signals??? Or is eveyone using IBFX to get signals and their own broker for trading??? because I notice the diff between Alpari and IBFX charts .... H1 signals at diff time !!! also IBFX is damn expensive..

??

Harold your recent post has shown me the light. (again). I have gone back to the basics now and am trying to mimick your trades. (since your system isn't broke...)

From now on, I am only going to trade those 6 pairs you recommend. I think I might keep the ATR14 tp/sl levels though, as I'm quite fond of that addition.

@ syedks

you're not going to like this, but the rjofx dealbook (Harold's) platform has the final say as to whether a signal has occurred.

I have at times noticed vast difference's in indicator values between his platform and either northfinance or interbankfx MT4 platforms.

The recent bad data spikes on ibfx have me now relying solely on the northfinance platform for alerts.

With the interbankfx MT4 it is the same GMT time zone as rjofx so you could use your ea for that daily indication. Once again, though, you would somehow have to make sure it is the same indication that rjofx has...

As for the hourly alerts it is CRITICAL that rjofx agrees. It is my observation that the indicator values are generally better coming from rjofx than the MT4.

Regarding the signals on rjofx so far...

@ 2 am est start time the gbp/usd was in a current down signal already and there were no other signals to take, so we should have jumped in on that one.

Depending on how fast you entered it would have just missed the 30 pips target and now be out of the trade with a small loss (less than 10 pips) at the close of the 8gmt candle when the stoch crossed back the wrong way.

Or you would have barely made the +30 if you were slow entering and caught the small retrace.

Personally I missed this move altogether, as I was still sleeping.

@ 7gmt candle close there was a valid eurjpy down signal (which i did take)

The eurcad also had all 3 indicators down supporting the eur weakness (even though we're only looking for the long signals on that one).

The cadjpy was sooo close to having a down signal (but didn't) which to me also supported the jpy strength.

And the gbpjpy had a down signal but like harold said it was daily O/S and we already have a better signal to take (eurjpy) so I skipped this one, but it also helped indicate jpy strength.

The eurjpy spiked up for -30 pips SL

@ 8gmt candle close the eurjpy down sig. was still valid so I re-entered.

supporting factors:

The eurcad was still all 3 indicators down.

The cadjpy had all 3 indicators up now (even though we're only watching shorts on this one) which maybe should have stopped me from re-entering the eurjpy on jpy correlation, but it was a long candle due for a retrace imo, plus I had the eur weakness correlation from eurcad to support my decision.

This re-entry trade almost tp'd, then almost got stopped out, now currently it's just dragging it's ass.

Bunjow, thanks for the clarification and I totally agree that signals from Harold as the mother of all .. but I still have one thing which needs further discussion. I think once we know the rules, and good at it then we should be able to apply it to any platform and broker. The rules are rules, they'll work regardless of the platform? isnt that right?

I think from now on i'll be following Harold's signals and checking them on Alpari to see if they match. if they are different then i'll follow my own on Alpari and post the results here. The outcome of this exercise will be better for others to understand harold's system and we will have the confirmation that it works on any platform and broker!

Harold, what you think?

Thanks

I've found Harold's Daily signals match my own charts, as do the 1 hr trade signals, i dont use Alpari charts.
I dont wait for the stoch reverse cross to exit a trade when i think there is a major retrace in price.

I think i took the same trade on gbpusd and also missed my exit target by a few pips. I had already moved my SL to +10 so I came out ok on that. Unfortunately, I decided to re-enter @1.9690. The next hour was approaching and it looked like a few signals were coming so I waited. Signals came on gbpjpy and eurjpy. gbpjpy had the stocs barely crossed and somewhat flat also it is one of the more volatile pairs and requires a higher SL so passed on that one.

I took the eurjpy trade @ 160.67 with the 30 TP and 30 SL and then modified my SL slightly to 161.05 to be at least above the even 161 number. I did not want to sit and watch all night so I went back to bed.

I did not really get back to sleep because less than an hour later I got a cadjpy alert. Getting up I found that this was a false signal and I had been stopped out on both of my other trades.

I got a few more false signals during the night and that sucked. This is why I would not let a compter trade for me, hehehe.

At 7am CST I got avalid alert on eurjpy and decided to take that one entering at 160.92 with a tp set with a stop market order at 160.62. Again I went bck to bed but first I set some audible alerts on my pc with the idea of letting me know if price was nearing my SL or TP. I made a mistake and put the alert at 160.52 so it did not do me much good.

Here is the interesting part that I would like to hear from people about!

Of course when my alert did go off I saw eurjpy falling fast and I was already out. Even tho I had the market order set at 160.62, MB Trading filled me at 160.23! Netting me an extra 39 pips!

My question to all is: would your non-commissioned broker have given you a fill like that????
