target 229.50---I really think it will reach 231.50 (50% fib on daily chart), but why be greedy?! Just wanted you to know that there are others long with you and you are not bleeding alone. I have a protective hedge sell order @ 218.50 and would not take that hedge off until I got a daily close above 219.50 (above august lows). If we bounce to the fib line I will be off to a great start tothe new year!!! If we tumble towards 210, then I will be hedged and just have to wait it out. I have been reading a lot of opinions the last couple of days and there is a lot of forecasting for a January bounce in equities (Dow). GJ has not really been following the Dow lately, but if we got a strong bounce to 13,800- 14,000 I think carries would follow. Anyway, I think our fate will be determined in the next few days. Last time GJ broke the daily uptrend line (in November) we bounced almost 800 pips in the next three days. I think the big bounce will start soon, or a big break below 219. I don't see us hanging around the low 220's for an extended period of time.

Ok lets see if the USD can manage to hold...or is it going to drop further down....2008 here we go....
My Profit for 2007 is $239,000......set back arround $190,000

My Profit target for this year is $1,200,000...Hopefully

Lets see what happens.

Awesome Breeze with your profit of 2007. I think you have taken a lot of Karmo pills to ride out the draw down then again you have nice margin so just roll with the interest. Newbies like me learn from you guys like you and try to remain patient. I was not patient and I closed my longs from 228 but have new longs open from 222, 223, 224 and 225 I am really hoping it reaches the 50 fib level of Daily by end of this week cause there will be some anxiety next week as BOE is going to be meeting. I really would like to go full time and be like you and Aus who have not only made it to the top but helped others with their goals. My goal is to work hard and make trading as a career. Please keep posting your analysis this not only helps newbies like me but motivates them from reaching their goals of becoming independent and spend more time with their families (unless you are a spot market addict) and be happy. Good luck in 2008 hope you reach your 1 million target

Hey Breeze,

First, happy new year!!!
I wanted to ask you, you use Oanda? I do. How do you hedge w/ them? I am trying to find a good pair to place my sell orders w/ to make a hedge. Is that what you do? I guess you probably know, I'm asking this because they don't offer hedging.

this pair is favorite for carry trade and there is not telling where the unwind may take it with continued credit market congestion.???

Without the hedge you must be holding about 80k down at the moment. Good luck with your target of 1.2million. It's a fair target.

I was trying to be SUPERMAN....but....hey I'm only human and when all goes wrong, I take cover and protect myself.....I'm hedged @ the moment.
