Got 50 on gbpchf, I waited till it broke clear of 2.2400 and it went as planned . Took 5 on eurcad too.

Today, I only took the cadjpy cross at 8am est and very nearly got stopped out 40 pips. Luckily, I got the +40 though.

I'm gradually getting better with my own warped way of trading your method, I think... (gonna make another slight adjustment)

good work pip cruiser i did something i rarely do if i have a 3 loss day i usually shut down for today but when i saw cad eur and gbp weaken against yen i got in and took a combo eurjpy and cadjpy for 25 each total 50 whew!!! back to -30 for today this certainly has been one of my stranger trading days in a very long time there were a lot of signals today just stay focused and take the ones that come with a little discretion. i exited my eurcad trade i forgot i had a stop 1 pip below the candle i entered and it never broke but when i looked at profit and loss it showed me -30 so i manually exited when i didnt have to thats what happens when you take your eye off the ball another lesson to be learned and reenforced. plan the trade then trade the plan

yes... I have a gmt broker and eurcad did not cross for me.

not many signals, but at the moment, I am trading this on demo and fine tuning it for me which I am getting to, did one trade today, brake even, as I had a loss on it, but I understand why, but getting used to it so hopefully in a couple of weeks, I will be trading this successfully and look to go live...

eurcad is crossing, but big candle, will have to wait another 50 mins to see what happens, though I won't be taking this trade.

With patience and following Harold's rather simple trade rules - the 1hr chart indicators signaled two of the three shorts (GBPJPY, EURJPY) pairs for a nice profit. The other short for the 1hr, GBPCHF, although I didn't trade it, could have been a decent trade also. I didn't even mention the only long set-up, EURCAD, which hit 1.4557. Not bad for a strange day.
trading is about having an edge...nothing is black and white in trading...if you have a plan and stick with it you will win...you can't judge anything with 10 days of trading...what ever you use... you will fail if you have a negative attitude and I see this a lot here on ff....thanks for the good work Harold...keep it up

Just had another win on chfjpy (15 pips). I'm up 2% on my account for today. Gonna quit now.

I have really enjoyed this system...I am making pips, and if I can, anyone can. I was up 120+ pips over the past two weeks until today. I lost 80 pips (-30 EURJPY, -50 GBPJPY) today, but I did not keep trading like some others did. Looks like I could have made up some of the -80.

Your system is very simple. I understand that we do need to use discretion in our trades, but some authors use so much "discretion" with their system that you can't really follow them. My trades are generally in line with yours. I look at the charts independently, but generally my days follow your days which means you follow your rules pretty closely.

Also, many authors don't admit to losses…or they try to explain them away. So it is refreshing to know that I am learning from someone that is honest and forthright.

I notice that you get about 10 good comments to about every 1 negative comment (although I am not sure Blackeagle meant to be negative). That is not a bad ratio at all...don't worry about the 1. I will continue to trade this in small lots until I build my personal “faith” in the system, and then I will move on from there.
Yup ... rough night trading last night. I was down over 1500 pips at one point but worked hard through the night and ended with a 25 pip loss. Not bad I guess in the end. I like the system. Thanks HaroldFx. I will be back tonight.

I agree with the post from aboutusnow. I been testing this system with a small live account and it seems to be working well. I've had losses, wins, some really lucky trades, and some not so lucky but the system seems to be holding up well. Likewise, I think Blackeagle wasn't being negative, just reporting his findings. I'm not a computer guy so I don't backtest, forward test or demo trade but those who do often provide some interesting things to consider. Anyway harold, keep up the good work. This is an interesting forum and a workable system. Bob

This is a GOOD system. But, each trader must use his/her brain & think things through before jumping into a trade.
The system is a great tool. But what good is a tool but for the hand that wields it?

This forum, this thread, is all about sharing & learning & improving, not only the system itself, but how we're going to interpret it to use it.
And no one has shared & patiently coached & taught more than Harold.
We're believers & we're here. Keep on keepin' on, Harold. Thank you.

And trading Christmas week? No indicators were operating on all cylinders. Not enough volume. Most folks, including me, shut the computer off after Christmas Day. Why lose all those pips when you can just send a check!

Put the earlier incident behind you....eyes forward...& let's all look forward to continue working with Harold's system, as well as with Harold himself, and work toward an extra prosperous new year.

I've read the thread and find the system to be valid. I have to admit that I took Blackeagle's comments as negative. But if you look at what he said you see that he "traded" during what is one of the worst times to be trading and he still made a profit. He used no discretion and was still up 28 pips. Thanks Harold for a great system! Relax! There are always naysayers on every thread! And people who want an EA!! LOL

It was a good day for me. My alert system worked well with the first coming in at 6am CST (GMT-6). It was for GBPCHF. I ended up getting stopped out on that one by just a few pips at the peak of the hourly candle. It just worked out that the way I put in the order I ended up with a 27pip SL. If I had made sure it was >=30 I would have ended up with 30 pips no doubt about it.

I am sure due to data source differences, I did not get the alert on EURCAD until 1 hour after you got yours, it was retracing quickly when mine came so I passed on that one.

Next came an alert for USDJPY at 7am CST. I went short at 111.39 with 111.71 SL and 111.11 TP (again a little off due to the type of entry order used). After a little chart study I moved the TP to 111.09 and the SL to 111.72 just above a trend line I saw.

At 8 am I got the alert on CADJPY. I think I must have been wasting time reading this thread 'cause I did not enter until 8:10. Went short there at 112.77 (112.47 TP, 113.07 SL). I liked that SL 'cause it was a little above the even number resistance at 113. After making a pretty good spike in the 113.04 region it started moving my way. As it hit 112.64ish I moved my SL to BE. It looked like it was weakening and I was about to go walk my dog so I added another 20 pips to the TP making it 112.27.

I then went and gave my dog a good walk which reminds me of one of the main things I like about this method... LOW STRESS!

I was still on the walk when at 9am I got 4 alerts on my cellphone. Well I had to smile when I saw that two of those were USDJPY and CADJPY. I knew my targets had likely been hit!

Back at my desk I saw I was closed out of USDJPY at 111.09 and my broker actually got me an extra pip on CADJPY filling me at 112.26. Good job MBT!

Net result +51pips.

Yes I had a rough patch and was about to quit seeing my last trade hit the stop -47 eur/usd.......when I noticed the Jpy going berserk....I quickly got on eu/jpy and gby/jpy and enjoyed the slide down (It was glorious) ended up +68 for the day.....
Harold I dont think the "blackbird" had any guile in his comments,which to me is very important,...I have just met some autistic kids(there are lots of em around) and what the "bird " said was just what an autistic kid would say, and they would be amazed if you took offence....they are like horses with blinkers on....they are limited to their view,almost like tunnel vision....they really do need our sympathy.... Oh the other thing that I noticed about the autistic kids were that they have NO sense of humour,weird really.....so as you can see by the rest of the guys comments,we are loving your input into our lives ,not just our POCKETS...dont you dare hang up your guns just yet!!!!

Yes, that is the one. I also refer to it as mikep's indicator because he is the one who came up with it. Make sure you check "Allow DLL Imports" on the common tab. I tell how I set up my phone to get text messages in post 1001.

Also, here is a screen shot of my MT4 profile. It puts all the pairs on one screen so that any of them will generate an alert. Note that some are minimized and selected from the tabs along the bottom.

Looks like we have valid signals for all pairs of interest for tomorrow, all short except EURCAD (long).
I just want to make clear that I wasn't either negative or positive on my posts.

I said it was just 10 days of forward testing and its performance cannot be judged.

I said it was a special time of the year.

I said should someone take all the trades mechanically (without any discretion), the results including the spreads would be like that.

My post was just an observation, that's it. But someone talks about autism, the other about naysaying.
