every broker has their own version. just pick a broker you might use and download their mt4 platform. of course its free. they want you to sign up for a live account with them after giving the demo a spin. (and yes free for life but the demos usually expire every 30 days. takes 2 seconds to restart another)
You will find hundreds and hundreds of good indicators on this forum. If you have any problems with the install of MT4, come back and post them in the Metatrader Section. Once you are ready to rock n' roll and your run into demo problems... we are here to help. Now... if your doing live trading with MT4 and you run into a problem with a trade, contact your broker immediately before thinking about posting problems here. Your broker has your money, we don't.

I suggest start with a free service like MT4 if you are not into auto trading then once you are making money look at a institutional level software with data service
sometimes you need to spend money to make money!
