that lsma indicator repaints and moves as you move chart to me not reliable anyway went from +21 to breakeven with the -39 loss on gbpusd total for week reduces from 105 to +66

Mrkam-Thanks for the write up. I was just asking because it didn't look to me like the stoch on GBPJPY was in agreement for the close yesterday. It looked to me like it had already crossed and started downward while the other 2 were up. I was thinking no trade, but I saw other postings saying long.

Appreciate the help.

well should have held my eurcad it would have given the profit indicators still pointing down. very good croese but audusd is about to be a loser at the end of this candle posting other pairs on this thread will confuse thoses who arent getting it yet whats the purpose then of posting other pairs other than the ones i have posted?

isma indicator I got from the Dollies thread, it works well for me (not for certain other people on this thread)
if you over lay onto your shocs, ensuring that the levels 10 and 90 are showing on the shocs,
now look back at every time the isma is in the 90 or 10 level (trading from 06:00 - 18:00) you will see most of the time it will reverse (nothings 100%)
great to pick up at least 30 pips use mainly on faster pairs

forgot to mention ensure that the isma is set at 10 not 3
take a look at the eur/jpy 1hr, you will see what I mean

i hung in there for +30 on eur/cad and just got +30 on cad/jpy. losses earlier of -30 each on gbp/usd, gbp/chf

harold that is correct it repaints itself, green is up and red is down well spotted
now look as I mentioned before when the isma is either above 90 or below 10 it almost 95% of the time retraces given you a chance to grab 30 odd pips

edit: just closed out of aud/usd for 0, no loss

if it repaints the past its a waste. also your entries arent in line with ours so please dont confuse otherswell i was able to get back 26 pip on cadjpy i set target at round number so total back to +92 for week

Hi Harold, thx for this great thread.

A quick question: I use FXCM and the daily candle closes at 5 PM EST. Can I use this to find direction for next day or should I tweak FXCM to give me a daily bar that closes at 7 PM EST? I am not sure how to do this anyway.

Also, just to confirm, you are using a 30 pip TP/SL on all pairs except GBP/JPY which is 50/50, correct?

Any reason why you use this system on 6 pairs only, can't we get decent signals on the other pairs as well by tweaking TP and SL a bit?

I really like this simple method Harold and I agree croeses should just start his own thread if he wants to post his own system. Why confuse everyone that is trying to master Harolds's system?

you obviously have a problem with me, not to say the private email that you sent me telling me not to post
ok, lets start with the isma, it doesnt repaint the past, it paints itself in the direction that we need to go and I said (again) I only use when its in the 10 or 90 level, its just another confirmation to your system
secondly, my trades are in line with any signal given

edit: forgot to post, closed yesterdays trade eur/usd for +30 (look back harold see if I posted this, you`ll remember its the trade you told me which was too late to get into at 17:00, as I gather you trade up to 18:00)

folks, i agree with harold and it's rather simple.

it's usually better to stick to the main rules and accepted general modifications, such as the stoc to dinapoli, so as not to derail new comers.

i, for one, still use the initial stoc so if croeses chooses to use other means of confirmation, he shld do so privatley for his own personal sensation and spare the thread. that doesnt mean we dont luv u croeses.

HI D... the DiNapoliStoch indicator can be downloaded on post #1 of this forum, on page #1 of course!

Then, simply place it in your MT4/experts/indicators folder. If your platform is open, you will need to shut it down and restart it in order to see it. You can get it in the Custom indicators sections of the pulldown or the navigator pane. Simply apply it like you would the other Stoch... except the settings are pre-set for you for this system...
