guys, what are the best times to trade? I can stay up late to check the candle but I guess will have to wait till get a signal on 1H chart - when do you get most signals, EU session????

I made profit on the last two signals (ej and gbpchf). I was not in any of the earlier trades (still trying to figure out how to do the cell phone alert to wake me up).

Hello Harold.
I made my first 2 trades using this method last pm. I am in CST and at times can be up for the Asia open. My trades were around 01:00 CST. I traded 1 mini lot in G/U & G/J. My Cable trade played out to a TP of 50 pips. The G/J scared me and I took 19 pips. Good thing, as it would have been taken out with SL of 50. I really like this method and will trade in a practice account for a while. I am going to keep it pure and trade it the way you posted it. I primarily trade using PA via James 16 help in formulating my trading plan. That practice account is about to go live as I am 26 wins and 3 losses over the past 4 months. I plan to trade exactly the same way when I go live. I will trade The Mint for at least 3 months practice before I go live with it. I have tried multiple methods posted on FF and The Mint seems to fit me the best. Thank you again for your generous sharing of The Mint.
I love this place (Forex Factory), it is such a ray of sunshine on the web.

Hi Harold, thanks for starting this thread. I really like the simplicity of this system with only 3 indicators although i will keep useing Fib lines as i find they are helpful in ploting tp. levels, showing breakouts etc.
Starting Monday G/U +51, Tues. G/U +26 ( i was away from home so closed that one earlier than i wanted) not bad for a ranging market, rest of the week should be more interesting.

Yep! Our "new day" for directional determination is based on IBFX new day, which is GMT0000. As I type, time is 23:46gmt, so we need another 14 minutes before this daily candle closes (the 18th), and the new one (the 19th) starts.

Once the 19th candle starts, the figures for the 18th will be fixed, and we can determine our trade directions....

If you are not using IBFX for your daily trade direction, you should... (or use another GMT +0 broker). This is pretty crucial to be consistent with Harold4X.

You can trade the hourlies, your actual entry signals, off of any broker you want, making sure you start trading at the CLOSE of the 0600 candle, or 0700gmt. Trade thru the close of the 1800 candle, or 1900 gmt.

i really jumped the gun a bit. harold4x tells us to take the 7pm est time and take your readings from the daily candle(s) at that time.

Harold ,After determining the daily direction, Do you commence a trade as soon as all 3 line up on the 1 hour, or do you wait till the Poms come on line (I mean the London opening)??Bill.
