when u create the account, you can choose regular or mini
the ea is made for mini

the chart is blurry
from what i see you have 4 longs n one short

it looks like in the middle u took partial profits on the long

i dont see anything wrong

single entry works with all indicators being used

if you get a new signal on any indicator, its new

see using 4 indicators messes up single entry the way it was before
wed miss alot of trades

the default setup uses same ind for exit
this fixes the rentry problem

i suggest you use all ind for exit

and manage the exits manually

Oh man! I just laughed so hard I woke my daughter up! Gotta get her back in bed but she is 12 and as hardheaded as I am - LOL! She wants me to be sure to tell you that she is definitely NOT a Dragon egg. She has no idea what one is - just sure she isn't one. Just made the mistake of telling her that mom was a Dragon. Now getting punched by the eldest egglette. LOL This is great - look what you started.

LOL!!

Poor girl! In the middle of the night you tell her her mom is a Dragon! (Consequently she has to be a Dragon egg then...) Guess you will face a hard morning discussion then.

Please let her know that I received the message - and was not initially referring to her when inventing the phrase!

So when all four are in agreement, it's a "signal" not just the QQE arrow? Then if one indi goes the wrong way and comes back, its a new signal- even if the qqe arrow/signal is say, 6 hours old?

Hi,

why does the majority of MT signals not correspond with VT Trader signals when I use only QQE as entry and exit signal?? I am using the VT Trader "EA" which you can find in post 1 but am considering changing to MT4 due to the connection crap of the CMS FX broker where I am running a demo. For the QQE smoothing factor I always use the same value.

e.g.:

in VT TRader a signal is generated at 6 pm but the same signal in MT appears either one candle after or one candle before the VT trader signal. Is the formula of the QQE indicotor not the same in both platforms?? This issue really sucks! And in countless cases MT doesnīt give QQE signals although VT trader gives them.

What can I do in this case? I want to trade the signals as they come in VT trader but using the same SF value decimizes the outcome in MT. I made a test with GBP/JPY 1H with SF 14. When VT trader gave 2200 pips within 6 months, MT gave 1500 in the same period with the same SF and generally MT results are always substantially worse than in VT trader. BTW: I didnīt use the strategy tester for the results. In finding the backtested prices I always worked manually.

Hopefully someone has some advice...

Well her mother knows very well that SHE is a Dragon - but my daughter seems to think she is not an egg - WTF? Maybe I should let Lizzy tell you in her own words.

i am too big for a dragon egg. Maybe that is why you and dad got sick - mom is not a dragon and i am not a dragon egg.

So there you have it - a 12 yr old at 3 am! Now I really need to put her back to bed (BAD) LOL!

Yes they are great! Interesting hypothesis that the cause for our sickness lies in the fact that we call our kids Dragon eggs!

Hallo Guys!

I just needed to finish the trades long GBPJPY as greedieness took over finally. The Trendchaser took the long position from the 1H chart, but somehow I was switching (without thinking really - still dizzy) to the 30M chart. Maybe it took the trade there (227.45 at 1.5 mlots as I use the IBFX account for that, as TC told us it was made for their Minis). Please let me know your entries there.
The newest Glenn 1.5 EA took the same signal at 227.69 here from the 30M chart and I had done something wrong in the settings and I brought me in with 10 lots (Minilots, no need to ask me for a loan yet!). I scaled out of the trade but really made nice profits on both trades! (exit TC: 229.75 / exit Glenn: 230.01 a bit later with 2 lots left)
Well, I really thought the move was over, but look at that continuation now! Better stay with the signals, but I'll have to go now and therefor it felt better to have the cash.
The EAs seem to be prepared to go life. The TC did not take further trades on the way up, but then the move was not really broken at any time. The Glenn EA behaves perfectly to plan as it seems! Great work!

Maybe the smoothing of "5" is not really working so brilliantly on MT4. My QQEs or QQEAs are set to SF = 1 as with the QQEA you can optimize the reaction time by playing with the inner settings of the QQE!

In manual trading maybe trading of the VT signals on the MT4 platform will do the trick, but so far the MT4 has built quite a following here and is a neccessity for the usage of the EAs.

Well, I canīt trade manually on lower time frames, therefore Iīd need to have th VT signals automated in MT, but you canīt export them to MT...
