Looking a few days out. I suspect equities will rally a little as expected until the FOMC delivers its expected .25% cut. But the luster will wear off soon; like a party where no one wants to dance, it'll be short lived. Short term; the British employment data is released Wednesday which is expected lower than previous-another bearish signal. Longer term; expectations for 50-.75bp cut next year suggests we'll see a continued bearish outlook for the pound. Not groundbreaking analysis but food for thought.
