I just entered this one today at a good spot. I entered just as the bar touched the 12...so maybe a little to soon, but well see.

Agreed with you on this. 4 Hour and daily chart does not suggest a clear direction as well.

Hope both of us are right! Little too early to tell. Market is slow, maybe due to NFP scheduled for release today.

Do you mind sharing the chart for Head & Shoulder you were referring to?I attached mine, and i hope we are referring to the same.This will surely help us all to see in bigger perspective. I dont expect GJ to go beyond the trendline.

Looks like AU is breaking to the south side. Hit my SL. Perhaps the trade was taken little early (e.g. the price has not yet consolidate between MA 12 & 24).

Also, good to note that this trade was against the longer trend(4 hr & Daily).So I think we are just trading little retracement here.Let just do what others do, follow the trend. Another opportunity will come for sure. Lesson learnt!

For entry positions should i wait untill all the lines are in the right order 8,12,24,72 or vice versa .... Or can i open the trade as they seem to be heading ??

Hi WARaintOVER,
Cornflower is a trend continuation system. If you refer to the first port by lever, he mentioned about all MAs used in Cornflower.

According to the rule, to initiate a position all MAs must line up approriately. For example, to go long, MA8 > 12>24>72. In an uptrend, wait for the price to bullback between MA12 and 24. Watch the price bounce from that consolidation range and thats were long position is taken.

Well, it's been a long time since I've posted. It's nice to see this thread percolating along in my absence. I intend to start participating again.

The market appears to be in flux. GBPUSD broke its weekly trendline. If it ends the week below it, we could see a futher decline of around (EDIT) 1200 pips (Tom DeMark's trendline methods gave me that figure). Of course, the market can do anything, so be vigilant. Cornflower will always tell you what the market IS doing, and you should always trade on that basis. Remember: Predictions are fictions!
