I'm just in long-term trades now. The financial mess is slowly but surely getting worse. As I discussed a couple of months ago, the subprime mess has now moved into the pension funds. Now the government is going to try to step in, but all they will do is weaken the dollar more.

The yen is going to continue to strengthen, no matter what the BOJ does. England is going to start cutting rates as their debt bubble pops . I have every confidence that GJ is heading below 175. I don't have time to worry about the daily and weekly swings, so I will just ride the long-term trend down.

Thank you very much for sharing your long term trend down views here..

Who is the 'broker'? Are your charts frozen or is the trading platform frozen aswell ie. can you open/close trades?

It's happened to me a couple of times, try logging out and logging back in. Check that you haven't selected the 'offline' chart setting in properties.

All the excess liquidity that supported the carry trade is going to disappear.

Most MT4 brokers require yout o get a new demo every 30 days. When the demo runs out the charts fail.

I know this is contrary to what most think and is opposed to Karmo and M2B, but I think we are going to see 225 before 227.

We are stuck under a round number a 226, bar closed below the 4hr 50ema and 100sma. Any upward chop will probably be under 226.70 until we see 225 area. I have a very very conservative pending short at 226.20 waiting. Stop at 227, TP open

Thanks for the chart, Lep (and MMDealer, MoForce, Karmo, Forexnovice, and of course Aus). I know this response is a few hours late from your post but I was out for a while and just got back in. I had two buy orders which both triggered while I was out. One was at the 226.02 level suggested by Aus (which confirmed my own analysis), and the second larger order was at 225.65, near the current lows. I'm not sure how you came up with the '225 area', but I do have a 50 Fib around 225.30 and a 61.8 around 224.40. I was leaning long because price on the lower TFs was indeed overselling earlier. The 1H and 4H both had room to move down so I didn't want to enter until they had consolidated. Both have since turned up and are looking bullish presently. I'm not sure how far up price will run, but I am pulling for the top of the present range which is 229ish.

What I meant was who is the demo broker who supplies the feed for these charts? It may be the case that they have lapsed, or just temporarily frozen.

It might be a blessing in disguise - get rid of some of those indicators that were cluttering up your charts and you'll re-familiarise yourself with those indicators that you do utilise.

NP and I'm aiming for around the same place with my longs. 4HR is very OS at the moment and once the daily pivot is broken we could really see some strong movement (I'm expecting a sudden jump towards 227.50 after pivot is broken)

Nice bounce off of the 1H 200EMA, which is to be expected. Price rarely just cruises through 200EMAs on any TF.
