Hi,

You have a very interesting thread. While i'd like to disagree with Phil on SLs, coz when you've been in it for so long, you'll realise that all these really depends on the trader, heck what the books are telling coz they help you on the road to success, but when you already know the road your walking on, its a really different level of trading. You are not wrong until you decide that you are wrong. On the other note, you dun need those SLs coz ur not worried abt blowing this account, yes but.......

Its also good to know that you will also wanna note abt admitting that some trades are just not meant to be... on a psychological level, when you are already down over a hundred pips, its good to know that it'll be better for you to eat the humble pie. Maybe your trade as right but your timing was just wrong...

Gd day and happy trading..yes trading should be fun, why trade if you don't have any passion for it?

Your charts are from the FXCM trading room trade idea charts . You copied from them then posted here . So you use fxcm's charts to traded , and the results posted here , isn't right ?
Your results let me want to follow fxcm charts to trade too.

Thanks jest1081 - the thread is what we all make it. And eating humble pie may happen sooner rather than later.

Simply, yes. But I do take opposite positions short term as well. EG. At 7.40 (GMT+1) Their Preference was LONG positions @ 1.3272 with targets @ 1.3299 & 1.332. Three hours ago when I was short. If I was following them exclusively 8 trades - all profitable - wouldn't have been made.

I called a few of my friends around the world, you Know, big fund managers etc. Pulled a couple of favours to see if they would help you out. They told me they will make this your biggest winner yet! Not to mention the couple of millions I sold.

The outstanding short EURUSD at 3124 may, IMO, be sorted out by the ISM Manufacturing Index figures in about 4 hours. It's currently at 3227 for an open loss of $103.

Ta Roy. I need the help. I think from an earlier comment - which hasn't been contradicted - the smart money is backing me to blow this account within 48 hours. I'm standing by to short again when you advise.

Or when it goes to up again to 3275.

It's in consolidation side- slightly up for a few hours. It can't go down any more just yet. Trust me.

Any help greatly appreciated. It'll go nowhere for 3 hours. We're on the same page there.

The Institute of Supply Management (ISM) Manufacturing Index may give a reading above 52 in three hours. As long as ISM Manufacturing Prices correlate - with the forecast it looks likely - then we'll see a drop of 50+ pips which will go some of the way to reduce my loss.

Last month, this report came out extremely low at 49.5. This month, it's expected to come out a bit higher, somewhere between 50 and 50.5, due to the dollar weakness, which benefits the U.S. manufacturing and exports. I just don't want the reading showing 49 or lower or I'll get stuffed.

It got to +5 pips but not happy keeping it open due to the above now out in about an hour. I exited for 1 pip - a string of 23 consecutive profitable trades now.

Free margin $500 now and an open loss of $125 on the old EURUSD short.

Cable is just waiting to go long next but Its a bit lazy, looks like 15-30 m before momentum kicks in, Don't go for too much 30-40 Leave some for others.

i enjoyed beginner luck, trading the equity market, doubling in $30.000 to $60.000 in 3 months with only reckless trading everyday, blindly enter the market, and earn huge commision. it was nice, my joyful day, even I always leave posiitons open and put TP limit, and go to mall,.. always profit.
until one day... i got hit for 10.000 in 3 days. :'(
that's when i lost my virginity of trading ... entering the adulthood market-is-playing-me psychology trading
