Fibs and S/R are leading indicators. This, combined with a good understanding of volatility and range on specific pairs are excellent tools. Take the Gartley pattern, for instance. You can eye a trade days, even weeks in advance on higher timeframes, of course. Likewise for smaller timeframes by identifying the trade hours in advance allows you to prepare for the trade. To be effective in applying this method requires a good entry strategy that is counter-intuitive to what most developing traders are used to, or trained to do, using momentum systems. When you re-train your mind to take proper entries, you will feel confident making a trade at a level where 97% of traders would be fearful.
