DislikedI haven't posted yet, but I've been keeping up with this thread and trading Supernova manually with Cryten's original rules (on a small live acct) for the past month. I'm absolutely delighted with it (obviously) and very excited to find something with clear rules that consistently delivers, while still leaving room for the human (that's me) to develop a real understanding of the market, i.e. something not 100% mechanical. I'm posting now because I'd hate to see such an awesome resource as this thread tainted by silly arguments or even disappear altogether out of frustration.
That said, I also have a question about a recent post. QQEA settings of 14, 21, 4.236 were brought up? I've been planning my exits based on pivot points, but when I opened a QQEA with these settings (with the original settings for my arrows) on to GBP/JPY it looks, at a glance, like crosses on the 14/21 settings would make for really good exit points. On today's move alone it looks like this would've given us around +407 pips (I exited with +136 this morning). Has anyone else considered using these settings for exits? I've read the entire thread (I think), but I don't remember seeing anyone talk about it. Of course like I said I've only looked at this at a glance, and haven't done any extensive backtesting - but it looks simple and promising if anyone else wants to check it out.Ignored
Your idea of using it as exits seems good. I'll take a closer look at it. Thanks!
