Well, I will be up tonight testing my system (using $100 positions). And probably taking your signals also with real beans... See you tonight. Going to be rough waking up at 1:30AM to start trading but i will take a nap mid-day and go to bed around 7 or 8ish. seems like the big moves happen from Tokyo into London

Attached are 2 experts that I have been messing with. I do not know if they work on a live account. So you know the Rules...MM take care if using on live account Blah Blah....

The lock Profit is set so that when 5 or so pips in profit it moves your stop to B/E plus 1 so that you do not end up negative pips.
Only problem is if price returns to entry and then rushes off again then you will end up with only 1 pip....But no lose...

Hardstop expert I had set to 17 pips but have now changed it to 27 because I was getting stopped out too often.

I have Hardstops on a 1M chart and Lock profit on a 15M chart.
I do not know if it makes a difference. I was just trying to ensure that a stop was installed.

As trade progress a Stop is entered automatically.
Then once trade is up 5 or so pips the stop is moved to B/E plus 1.

I have not had any success yet with the 2nd and 3rd moving stop levels yet.
If anyone has success with them please repost the expert.

It sounds like your system would not work with those experts.
Nevermind they are there now. Somebody might find them useful.

Many will love this expert. I have one similar to this like 6 months ago when i was testing pivot point trade. The system is to put a Buystop or Sell stop when the price approaches the pivot pointapprox 20 pips. That theory was good but i need to insure profitability of that, so i made one similar to this. Only it take 2 after 6 pips then 5 at 10pips then trailstop 15 at +20. You seldom loss but the take amount is so less it like im getting 2 pips in every trade that I am waiting for like hours and hours. But for those who loves trading small gains this is good profit protection expert. What i really need is trading thru macd ( that is my trend indicator) that everytime it goes postive trade buy and negative trade sell but selective to a certain range because sometimes it will come back again and then you double trade.

Do you mainly watch the MACD on 5 minutes?

I am looking at this indicator the other day done by some smart dude. Please take alook at this. Ok the idea of this is good perhaps we could incorporate this in our strategy. This indicator is putting a trade arrow up and down but not selective not all crossings it is putting arrows. If you could convert somehow to make this an EA that by the time it put an arrow up then it trades buy and arrow down ti will trade sell. But only when it puts the arrow not on crossings that it didnt put the arrow. Take a look like because this is similar to my manual trading. MACD is trend evaluation both on 5 min and 4 hours. 4hours dictates the trend. to avoid large drawdown, 5 min chart must conform to the 4 hours then only trade.

Explanation:
Why we trade the EU Long.---
Ok the MACD is going up coming from below, normally that it the start of the trend after that big positive wave for like a week. It like undercurrent dive down and come up with a bang. Checking the 5 min MACD it is in the postive teritory meaning it conform to the 4 hour chart. Results we trade Long for the Euro. TP just run you Fibo. SL -- low price last candle 1.4820 - 10 = 1.4810 approximately approximately 31 to entry price so make it 35. Make the SL 2 pips away from 0 digits. If the calculated stop is 1.4810 make it 1.4808

I was hoping for a trade with home sales report, coming out in 40min.

I had that E/U trade last night at +5 pips, kept thinking, this is going nowhere, I should just close it. But of course, I stayed in and got stopped out. Hate when that happens!

You were right. No signal last night. But i did manage to scalp the GU at 3:000 able to get some 60 pips.

I am looking these 3 currencies right now. AudUsd - Sell ,,UsdCad--Buy,,UsdJpy --Sell .. But not so promissing. The Ucad is unstable . I should have read the details of the oil pipeline fire in Canada. US consumer confidence was bad. The Only good one.. i think is the UJ--Short

No need to apologise. A no trade is much better than a poor trade. Keep 'em coming though! I'm intrigued by your calls and take most of them. By the way, you must have some stamina to be on the case as much as you are? I mean, checking through the night does show some commitment.

Ditto! I live in the same time zone as you do T101, I think it has to be about the worst for this business. The market slows down just as I am getting home from work. But to get up in the middle of the night to check the charts! Very impressive.
