The problem it's not Chavez is a MORON.

He is a MORON with Oil. And all other Latin American MORON Presidents - like Lula, thank you very much - bend over.

Lula had the NERVES to say "Nobody can deny there's democracy in Venezuela. They even voted!".

All in all, oil $99 today, Chavez laughing his sick f´n buttocks off and Petrobras with a MONSTROUS amount of oil at 6,000 meters below sea level. Nobody knows how to pump it up

that weekly bar in the making, is not very encouraging for bulls..
if we get another attempt... ,94-96 would be good area to start building short positions imho..

Oh I agree, I would only look to go long only if support holds and there is confirmation. Otherwise I would look to see if there is further weakness and if a lower high pivot sets up.

I think oil price will get some decent support around low 70s...

Well, I think we missed this trade Merlin...We should have been paying attention to oil at $98 for a possible short just as last time...All the hype in the market were talking about oil going to $120 and the market was actually having a tough time with $100...It's being hit now at $89

I' d say down to about $85 before we bounce, but have to wait for Oil Inventory Figures and see what the boys from OPEC say after their meeting in Abu Dhabi.

The other reasons why I am thinking lower before it goes up some is: Chavez needing a little humility with Sunday election loss and intel on Iran regarding nuke plans should temper the noise coming from Pres Bush. So this might mean possible reduction in war premium.

i got a feeling it will go down for 10 dolars till 15.12 ...russian parliamentary elections are over,...only iran issue debated on cnn might hold,....but opec did increase production, so if it doesnt start to go down,...ill will again become agresive shorter like at 80 last year, tp 66.

It will eventually go to low 70s, but I still think we'll see 93 before that happens....
These are my oil trades in the last 7 days, using just S/R and fibs.
.... before anyone asks,... these were taken on demo....

Although it has to go through $86 to get to $84, I think $84 is where the firm support might be.

next week, the whole week, there might be a strike in Italy for road transport,...that might be a catalist for oil to drop heavily....
