I use a simple chart program from www.fxstreet.com, nothing fancy. Or I just do a quick calculation

High - (High-Low)*50% (from last bull run). . .
225.77 - (225.77-222.44)*50%
= 224.10

I also get pivots from here which I found to useful as well. . .

I was merely pointing out it is pointless for that person to ask if he is 'still short'.

He posted his trade, his targets, and then said goodnight and it was only a couple of hours ago and the market hasn't moved much.

Just breached the daily pivot at 224.37. 1H gann is about 10 pips below, with 15 mins left on the candle - break that and I think we're looking at a move to the daily 5sma which I make at about 233.80.

Yeah, I think we are going short again for a while because of the bearish gartley appearing on 1H chart. The target is around 223.15 which is 76.4 fib retracement and then if lower, 221.82 (sup II).

a minor bounce may occur just now up to 225.30 but downtrend will continue.

we must sit tight for tomorrow news which can turn the market more bearish down to 221 or below before any higher.

BTW, the Gann was crossed so I am bearish, at least temporarily.

But then this bullish pattern emerges on my chart, throwing a spanner in the works.

I have a concern, and it's this: once again some of you guys are hanging on Karmo's coattails -- "Is it long? Is it short?" Here is what I have to say: LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!!!!! He will tell you what he wants to -- if you keep bugging him, he will disappear once again. Is that what you want? Ask yourselves "is this a stupid question?" If you have any inkling that it might be, then go somewhere else and ask it!! We have already lost so many of our senior people (unfortunately), for heaven's sake, let's not lose Karmo! Get a grip!!!!!!!!

Anyone notice the GU 15 min chart?
GU seems to be making a series of lower highs.
GJ could be headed for trouble shortly if GU sells off rapidly.

Yes, I agree with you. Karmo's analysis help me greatly. I compared with his with mine and sometimes find something that i didnt realise from my chart. The same goes to all of you as well. Reading this thread and being in FF forum really help me a lot!

My 1hr candle closed at 225.18, not the magic 225.20 so donkey kong has to go back in his cage till we pick up more buyers

I believe we will get a retrace back to 1hr. 5sma if price breaks above daily pivot.
